Seeing Acquaintances, Friends Or Family Members In Public Are you the kind to avoid talking to them or go out of your way to greet?

Sometimes, I'll quickly run into the grocery store after a workout. I'll especially avoid people that I haven't seen in a while when I'm not looking the best. I've noticed the people you rarely see tend to make comments on physical appearance. They'll point out what's changed since they last saw you. I'll hide if I want to avoid that conversation or I'll walk in another direction hoping they don't see me.

I'll interact with people I regularly see or talk to regardless of how I look.

Depends. Those I'm willing to CLAIM any sort of association with I of course will come up and say hello -- or if we're in a rush I'll nod and smile quickly and we'll catch up on DM later.

Those I know well enough to know I don't like them... I'll look them in the eye, look away and keep moving/chatting as usual, ignoring them completely. They're just part of the wallpaper.

First, it would depend on whether the acquaintance was known to me in a confidential manner or not.

Then, if confidentiality is not an issue, at least a nod or a wave, and an approach is conversation seems appropriate.

I'll give eye contact. If they make me look stupid they have one chance to explain why immediately the next time I see them.  If they make eye contact then ya I might go over and say what's up
