When life corners me, I don’t pretend to be fearless, I just get very focused.

I slow down, strip the problem to its core, and choose one small move I can control.

Pressure makes me quieter, sharper, and more intentional.

I don’t like panicking, it never helps.

I’d rather breathe, regroup, and push forward step by step.

When my back’s against the wall, I don’t crumble.

I recalibrate and then I fight my way out.

Deal with what's dealable, negotiate what's not. Don't waste energy trying to fix the unfixable, sometimes it's best to cut your losses. Never be ashamed to ask for help.

In a weird way reassuring. A firm place to get your barring. When there's too many options it's easy to get lost. Back against the wall the only option is forward.

Once you're pass that obstacle you do quickly find your lost in the woods. left to your own devices. it's not do or die anymore so you do have some breathing room.

The truth is, I usually get defensive and come out swinging, metaphorically and literally.

Even if it's me defending my stance against everyone else, I stay true to my beliefs.

And if I die trying to fight back, well then I'm going to Valhalla because I died with honor.
