What is a good career? And what is love?
It always amuses me what the youngins on this site determine makes a person successful. Not that a blame them. But they have such a limited view of life. And most have a very romanticized and naive view of what "love" is
I used to think when I was young that a million dollars and I'd be set for life. Now I'm looking at 1.5 million isn't enough. And love? If you can meet someone who after 20 years still like you you're doing pretty good.😂 because 95% of life is not romance. It's 2 people in a foxhole battling the tribulations of life.
She marries the boring, safe one with the career and financial security / comfortable lifestyle, ends up regretting it / not respecting him, and having affairs to feel something again. Think I'm wrong / cynical. I have a mountain of personal experience that says otherwise.
More than often a lot of people trip over the art of building a relationship. As well as the contributions it would take to build with someone to create success. A lot of people go for money thinking they will receive the love you would obtain by seeing success before hand when that’s far from the case in fact it puts a target on your back. And then there is some who constantly chase the butterflies in the stomach or that initial spark which only gives you a good night and nothing more find you someone to build an empire.
