Who would you choose between the person who loves you or the person you love?

ok. so I'm in a situation where i have to choose between having feelings for the person i love (who likes me but doesn't put efforts) and the person who loves me (I'm a queen as seen by his eyes and he loves me so much that he would literally do anything for me)
i had a boyfriend of two years and in april-may 2022 i lost feelings for him and in July, i fell in love with my guy friend. I told him about everything and i broke up with him (he knows about my feelings for my guy friend but doesn't know that it is love)
But he is putting all of his efforts to convince me to come back together with him and he'll make me love him again. . I really wanted to give our relationship another chance and i stopped talking to my friend (bc of some reasons) I considered giving him another chance and decided to meet him to be more clear but then. i saw my guy friend i saw him. and all my friggin feelings came back and i got overwhelmed while i didn't feel much for my ex boyfriend when i hung out with him. I love my so called friend but he won't ever put so much efforts like my ex does. I don't know what to do but I need to decide/confirm who I have to feel for. please help.

I would choose neither. you can't force someone to love you. Just ask your ex.

I also wouldn't go back to your ex, because whether you realize it now, I imagine subconsciously, you'd lose more respect for him since he's in essence ok with being plan B. Being the guy you with but not want to be with.

Don't have to be in a relationship to be happy. If you do derive so much happiness from others, then it may behoove you to change that before going back to being in a relationship

Too many men chasing you, such a modern female problem.

Do the typical modern female thing:. "Date" your "ex" for attention and resources, while banging your "guy friend" on the side.

Both relationships will make you unhappy in the long-term. Neither are healthy for a lasting and loving relationship.

Loving someone who doesn't love you is very painful. It causes low self-esteem, frustration and emotionally instability

If someone loves you, but you don't love them, you'll never feel content and fulfilled in the relationship. You'll always be looking elsewhere for a relationship where the feeling is mutual
