You know what “dog whistling” is. You almost certainly suggested the same of Drumpf when there was zero evidence to suggest that he commanded people to riot on January 6, 2021.
Military service personnel KNOW that they are not only allowed to disobey unlawful orders, but they are expected to. If their conduct is called into question, their superiors will be investigated but ultimately they are responsible for their own actions in and out of combat.
Therefore, those loose cannons who participated in making a video telling military personnel what they already know is obviously a dog whistle meant to sow disobedience and chaos into the military under Drumpf’s command. They definitely didn’t come out against Biden’s horrific military moves, like withdrawing from Afghanistan. Far and away one of the most disastrous decisions in modern military history. We lost our own military personnel and valuable allies in that sh*t show, and not one democrat challenged it. Then there’s Hillary Clinton’s traitorous involvement in the Benghazi tragedy. Again, she cost the lives of our own military and non-military personnel and valuable allies, and not one democrat challenged her on it.
You don’t care about our military men and women unless you can politicize them for leverage. Which literally makes you the second worst kind of US citizen. You’re already part of the worst group, who doesn’t care about protecting children and punishing predators unless it fits into your political bias. Shame on you!

So, what you really think here is that if you just compare Democrats' behavior to the behavior of Trump and the illegal orders that he keeps issuing to murder people, somehow that all balances out for you? Trump gave them commands, said the fraud of this magnitude allowed for the termination of rules even those found in US Constitution then refused to concede also still pushed conspiracy bullshit.
Trump pardoned all involved in the riots giving aide/comfort to rebellion as US Law says.

Trump is solely responsible for the events of the day as Mitch McConnell himself said.
Lindsay Graham also stood up on January 6 taking a stand against Trump claiming the election can be overturned.
Congressman Clyde was seen panicking inside the Capital frantically scrambling to barricade the doors from the danger, Josh Hawley ran in fear from the mob, Mitt Romney after seeing footage showing how close the mob was to getting him on that day voted to Impeach Trump after being against impeachment.

Congress and Senate held candle lit vigil for The Capital Police injured, beaten, dead defending the sacred halls and living up to their oath including Republicans.

Supreme Court of The United States along with 61 other courts in America all agreed the presidential election of 2020 can’t be overturned because there wasn’t evidence of widespread fraud that would change the outcome of the finished election.

I know Trump is the most responsible, whether you want to believe others are involved then have at that discussion. I know Trump is the main guy in orchestrating it based on the amount of evidence.

There's a good article here about the pros and cons of (dis-) obeying unlawful orders at various levels. Basically, you're allowed and expected to rely on your superiors ensuring that the commands are lawful. They're expected to know what they're doing.

Thanks for posting a link to that. Very interesting article. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any obvious conclusions to the problem of what to do for enlisted people when they are issued what seem to be flagrantly illegal orders.

I think the confluence of while governing military activities and the culture of military service are in conflict to the extent that anyone disobeying an order, at least at the operations level is going to be in serious trouble, whether or not the order is ultimately found to be illegal.
