Because our power is waning... we are sunk in debt, other powers have risen up.

I believe the reason is 'cuz no one can figure out how to get along with each other.

I mean why is there any war? These days it seems money is one reason. So, I guess that just falls under greed.

Why else? Religion. "You don't believe what we do so we must kill u 'cuz that's what god wants." Not exactly the kind of god I want to be hanging out with for eternity.

However, I get the feeling your question is more leaning towards political reasons. Like, it's this sides fault or that sides fault. I don't know. America was born out of war and always seems to be on the brink of it one way or another for whatever reason seems trending at the time.

I hope someday, someway, somehow we, as a global community, can grow out of this juvenile phase. On one hand, our countries, all of them, are big kids throwing little tantrums with big toys. Lethal ones.
