"This war is going to cost untold lives and untold billions of dollars. And it’s going to cost us something else as well: whatever is left of our reputation. Our allies are already suspicious of us, and we will no longer be able to be perceived as a nation that can be trusted or taken seriously. The Middle East is a tinderbox, so there is also the distinct possibility that the situation will spiral completely out of control because the idiot who started it in the first place understands nothing of what is required to contain it. On some deep level, though, he clearly recognizes that this could benefit him politically or financially, and that is enough for him"
4 moThe religious clarics that's been oppressing the people in Iran and being a pay pig to all the terrorists we've dealt with is a game changer. Every POTUS before Trump should have done this, but they didn't... for their reasons. The allies that are scared shitless right now... they're colonized by them and should be scared shitless. Meanwhile, look at all these Muslim countries that want to get in on the action with us and Isreal right now... against Iran's Claric Dictators. We have new allies now.
I think you've been consuming too much left wing propaganda but have a mind of your own based on how you wrote the question. Bro... they're dancing in the streets because dancing was banned. The only people protesting are Liberal white women and their simps. We have Cubans begging us to do them next because they're suffering too. I just had an Iranian dude tell me I don't know how important this is because my Mom didn't get shot in the head when she stuck her head out the window without a rag on her head (Hijab). Bro is right... if you think you understand this without dealing with it... who the fuck are you? Only time I was in that area of the world... we were at war... and that side of the fight was being funded by? guess?08 Reply- 4 mo
After your update... congratulations. I've had many of those myself.
Asker4 moThose are nice to have. How do you know they are dancing in the street? Have you seen them doing that? Does it mean anything even if they are?

It's all on video and social media. You'll have to search beyond the Liberal media though because they are just doing the usual demonizing of anything Trump is around. For instance BBC reported that we bombed a bunch of kids, but thankfully it's all on video, Iran launched that missle and it came right back down. If you go to X. com watch out for that fake Iran AI slop (it's obviously not news either)... I swear most of the news I've seen from them is trying to pass footage from a video game called 'War Thunder' as real war footage. Obviously don't trust fake news like CNN, NY Times, Yahoo News et cetera... that's just liberal/communist propaghanda.
If you need links to sources on X, I can drop some links, just ask for them. Or you can slowly build up your own connections. I grab names and follow when youtubers use them as sources... like Asmondgold, Black Conservative Perspective, et cetera.
Basically you'll become your own Ground News... watching both left and right perspectives in real time and seeing more than any normie is ever going to see. - 4 mo
To give an example... I'm casually watching Decoy Voice that happens to be talking about what I'm talking about.
https://youtu.be/h1ripNj3Zs0?si=WJOe88jQp2suCPj2
Notice how he's pulling his sources right off of X... grab the names posting this stuff from both the left and right. Blam, you have news or insight that you'd never get from cable television.
Then it's really upto you to make up your own mind about things. You might not 100% agree with someone like me, but at least you'll actually be informed with this kind of sourcing.
Asker4 moThank you. I'm glad to hear that you, too, have written approved opinions and questions.

I've held more influencer statuses at one time than anyone here, and I was once holding Master status. Banned though... over and over because some of these Liberal Mods don't like what I say... maybe an admin but I don't know. Not my problem... I was never concerned with some internet status. I just want to help people reach greater conclusions. D_Bone_Steak is still here looking out.

6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Retired U. S. Army General and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe,
Wesley Clark, revealed that seven Middle Eastern countries were slated for regime change by the United States.
Clark stated in several interviews and in his 2003 book, "Winning Modern Wars: Terrorism and the American Empire", that he was told about a classified memo or plan shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
The List: According to Clark, the memo outlined a plan to "take out" seven countries in five years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iran.
These were countries that didn't recognize Israel's right to take over all of Palestine by eliminating Palestinians.
They also stand in the way of Israel's Yinon plan for "Greater Israel" that would stretch from the Nile to the Euphrates, across half of Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq and west to the Mediterranean.
So the U. S. is doing Israel's bidding.
It has nothing to do with Iranian nukes since everyone know it doesn't have a nuclear weapons program. It has nothing to do with human rights in Iran since the U. S. doesn't give a fuck about human rights. It's not because Iran is a threat because Iran has never attacked anyone unless it was attacked first.
But again, Iran has supported the resistance movement against Israeli attacks against its neighbors and genocide against Palestinians. And Israel hates any resistance or opposition. After all, they think they are "the chosen people" and are superior to goyim.00 Reply

4 mowe are there because of threats (perceived or real) against Israel.
It has been stated and cited that Israel was preparing an attack on Iran and so the US jumped in.
This is going to be a very unpopular war for the reason you stated. We will spend billions (by an administration that has already exasperated our deficit), lose lives, incur massive rises in costs, and further the ire of many middle eastern countries against the west.
So the reason? primarily israel... also the billions the Trump FAMILY have invested in Israel and Saudi Arabia.

1. Iran is the leading state sponsor of terrorism globally.
2. The Ayatollah has been leading Iran on a path of fanaticism which knows no limits. The Iranians would rather kill every person on the planet rather than simply accept a limited roe in the world.
3. The Iranians have become dangerously close to having the ability to produce nuclear warheads that could be delivered by missile on an intercontinental basis.
Should we wait for Iran to launch nuclear attacks before we respond?
- 4 mo
@Seangreen If your enemy was mentally ill, would you want them to have nukes?
Asker4 moPlease offer some evidence that supports the truth of this statement: "Iran is the leading state sponsor of terrorism globally".
I would argue that the United States is, in fact, the leading sponsor of terrorism globally. If you disagree with this statement, then please offer some evidence that it is incorrect.
You also said, "The Ayatollah has been leading Iran on a path of fanaticism which knows no limits," and "The Iranians would rather kill every person on the planet rather than simply accept a limited role in the world."
Again, please offer evidence that this statement is true. Further, even if it is true, I would argue that it is also moot since the Ayatollah is apparently dead, having been murdered by the United States in the course of the unprovoked, illegal war (U. S. law requires that the US President obtain the approval of Congress before beginning a war like this, and he failed to do so, thus making the war illegal) that the United States is presently conducting against Iran. If you think this war is, in fact, legal or was somehow provoked, please offer evidence or at least an argument supporting either one or both of these contentions.
In regard to the second part of your statement, as quoted above, please explain what your position is, such that you have knowledge of the actual intentions of the Iranian government regarding killing every person on the planet, as opposed to accepting a limited role in the world, as you stated.
Asker4 moMoreover, You further said "The Iranians have become dangerously close to having the ability to produce nuclear warheads that could be delivered by missile on an intercontinental basis."
Again, please offer evidence supporting that contention, as I doubt that you have personally been monitoring the progress or lack thereof regarding the Iranian nuclear program. Even if what you said is at least partially true, I do not believe that you are an expert in the capabilities of nuclear warheads. However, if you are, then please offer evidence that any nuclear warheads that were developed by the Iranians could actually be delivered by a missile, but even if they could be delivered by a missile, please offer evidence regarding how far those warheads could or could not travel, as you stated that this could be on an "intercontinental" basis. In that regard, the term "intercontinental" also needs to be specifically defined in this context, given the relative locations of Iran and the United States, which are crucial in determining the validity or invalidity of your original statement.
Also, please list the name of the missile (s) that would presumably deliver the warhead you are contemplating to whatever target you believe would be selected, along with the actual tested range of the missile in a test where it carried the equivalent weight of the intended warhead.
I am not trying to cause you any distress or to insult you in any way, but when you make inflammatory statements on a public forum like this one without evidence, I would argue that doing so is irresponsible, and as I know that you are a responsible person, I would ask you to please amend your statements with actual evidence or retract them as appropriate. Thank you.
Asker4 moWhat qualifications do you have that enable you to determine whether someone is mentally ill?

I asked you, “are you an ideologue and this is simply a pretext for preaching your rhetoric?” I do not care to engage in political debates with people who simply want to argue, and i don’t need to wander down this path to know where it is headed. Good day.

I don’t accept invitations to argue from people who want to argue. Good day.

4 moI think that it's because of hamas fucking with the shipping lanes and the fear that it is likely to fuel shipping traffic to travel through arctic regions that are much easier for Russia to regulate than for us to regulate.
In other words trump spent a lot of time building relationships with the middle east and Iran is threatening the authority we've built up there. We kind of have our foot on china's neck right now and if shipping traffic goes through their region which is growing in usage then it's going to give a country that is in competition with us an edge that we can't really afford to give them right now
00 Reply The United States has no business attacking Iran. Wordplay is calling aggression preemptive strikes. I am ashamed that my tax dollars are being use in a way that will probably end up causing more harm to my country than any benefit other than Isreal. Isreal has been committing genocide while the world bureaucracy watches it happen after vowing to never let genocide happen again and it's by the hypocrites who chant never again. America needs to look in the mirror and look and see who call itself an ally is in reality. How can we help a nation committing war crimes and genocide while they spy on us more than anyone else. Isreal is illegitimate and needs to be dissolved into something else because these are not the chosen people like they claim to be.

4 moFirst off, it's not officially a war. No one has declared war/
To answer the question, the US and Israel attacked Iran to prevent them from obtaining nuclear weapons, to end Iran's support for international terrorism, to end the oppressive regime and allow Iranians to be free again (for the first time in 47 years) and to bring some stability to the region.
00 Reply 27.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It is indeed a mess but it is a mess that has been going on through 7 presidents. It would have been more politically advantageous for President Trump to just kick the can down the road like his predecessors did but he is doing what is best for America by eliminating the problem once and for all.
It would not surprise me if it turns out that America gets an oil deal from the new Iranian administration.00 Reply- 3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
4 moCheck the history from Iran and the US until now. Hezbollah and Hamas, the Beruit bombing, putting mines in the Gulf in 1988. Trying to get nukes and pledging death to America and Israel for 45 years, holding US hostages for 400 plus days.
This has been brewing for decades. I think the regime has never looked weaker.
I just hope a good, wise regime takes over. Not Islamic, prophetic, wipe out Israel and bring in the last imam stuff.

10 Reply 1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. This conflict has been brewing since 1979 like Iran used its Houthi proxies to attack commercial shipping, have funded terror groups, backed insurgents in Iraq, has attacked KSA and Israel before, is pursuing nukes, killed thousands of their own people for having the wrong opinion and the likely alternative would have been war with Iran at the same time with war against China.

This applies to any conflict, not just here. Take me for example. Say I keep shooting and hurting your loved ones. Then you get the balls to kill me and succeed. Cool. You know what you left behind? People who will hunt you down and kill you.
Leaving parts alive is a half measure. Half measures fail.
4 moThe reason is to show North Korea and Russia that we can destroy their Military in days or weeks and that war is obsolete.
Asker4 moNo, that's actually not the reason. This is not a demonstration project, it's just a stupid little war. It's not clear to me, nor is it to anyone else except apparently you, that we would get into a contest with the North Koreans or specifically with the Russians and destroy their military in days or weeks. War is clearly not obsolete.
Asker4 moI don't think anybody starts war for the reasons you suggest, although now that I think about it, I wouldn't exactly put it past Trump.
