It's occurred to me that men are stepping away from interactions and dealings with women in professional and public situations. That intervention or communication is no longer a worthwhile pursuit for various reasons brought about by public shaming for belittling, domineering, wanting something in return for assistance that wouldn't put anyone out or create to much inconvenience to just help or protect.

Blaming fragility of ego as an excuse is redundant and idiotic when no one is obliged to help another with physical presence or effort so don't go there. In times of need have you ever avoided putting yourself forward to help a woman or been reprimanded for offering?

I read that men will avoid engagement in situations where they could aid a woman in need but did not and this makes women resentful of men for choosing their own safety and convenience over social support of protective physical presence.

You are mostly correct. The stories going around about women suing lifeguards for harassment for touching them without their consent while giving them CPR are enough to make any man think twice before helping out a woman. The only exceptions at this point might be family and friends (and I'm Polish, in the USA it might be even more restricted at this point - to just family). I know I would never aid a woman in any way that would require the slightest physical contact myself. If I see a fainted woman on the street, I will call the ambulance, but I might be unable to even tell them the approximate age of the fainted woman, since once I recognize a female silhouette, I will instantly turn my head to avoid any suspicion of leering at her. If there is a female passerby nearby, I might call out to her to apply first aid to the fainted woman, but even then I don't think it's going to work, since I will similarly turn my head and not look at the female passerby while talking to her in order to avoid potential harassment charges, so chances are she will not feel compelled to actually provide first aid. If there is no female passerby nearby... It's a race against time for the ambulance to get to the fainted woman, because I'm definitely not putting a single finger on her. In a drowning scenario, the drowning woman better pray there is a female lifeguard nearby, since while I will call out to the lifeguards if present, a male lifeguard might be similarly unwilling to take action.

At this point, I believe there is only one solution to this issue - non-man-hating women must wear some kind of easily noticeable accessory to show their consent to be provided first aid by a man. Armbands come to me as an obvious idea, but they might feel a bit too much 1930s-1940s Germany - feel free to post Your suggestions in the replies. Upon finding an unconscious woman wearing such an accessory, a man could take a photo with his smartphone, in order to have proof that she was wearing the accessory when he found her, then apply first aid to the woman. The same might apply to providing any aid requiring interaction with a conscious woman. In case of a court case, a photo like this would institute an ironclad alibi for the man. This way, even if rabid feminists start wearing those accessories as well, it will be considered entrapment and the man will walk free.

I'm sorry, it seems like you have some fairly unusual thoughts about this problem. Men mostly stay away from women because of the dangerousness involved in approaching them or interacting with them in an intimate fashion, or even in a fashion where you're helping them. Most men, despite the biological imperative, do not feel like it is their job to protect women or to aid them in their time of need. Women have been telling us for years how they're independent and they don't need men. So most of us have decided to call their bluff and tell them, "Yeah, okay. So when you're in a ditch with a flat tire and a broken axle and no money and it's raining outside and your cell phone doesn't work, take care of yourself. It's not my job."

Additionally, in terms of even dating or trying to date women, no man wants to be accused of any sexual crimes or to be falsely accused of all the myriad of things women can dream up and do as a way of making money.

The justice system is so tilted toward women and so tilted against men that no rational man approaches women or does much of anything with them anymore because it is just simply too dangerous. So if you're a brave soul and you're enough of a narcissist to believe that you're an exception to the things I've said, then go right ahead and do them. But don't presume for one second to guilt trip the rest of us into trying to do it because we're not going to.

No. The world is continuing just as it always has. People are still dating and marrying. Men are still willing to help if you need them. Sure there's a few angry women out there and a few childish men, but 99% of us are getting along just fine.

Why are men childish for not stepping in to protect women though? Surely they have the right to look out for themselves and NOT risk being misinterpreted in the reason for aiding or supporting a woman in everyday activities?

The percentage of the US society actually getting along is closer to the percentage of women voting for Trump in what was dubbed the "men vs women election" (they did not allow themselves to be the vessels of the aggressively anti-male policies of the Demo (n) crats). That makes it about 44% of the US society (maybe a bit more if we are optimistic and assume that all Trump-voting men would interact with all the women voting for Trump, which would bring it to the average of around 50% of the US society getting along). The vast majority of women voting for Harris is mentally incapable of getting along with a man, though, so it will not go much higher. According to my observations, it might be even worse in Western Europe/EU. However, it is not out of range of possibility that it is still enough to save the Western societies, unless it gets even lower.

That's why I don't think You should potentially fuel the divide by condescendingly addressing every man unwilling to intervene in the incident with Iryna Zarutska as "not a man". The potential consequences if She was a rabid feminist are a threat big enough to discourage any sane man (at least one unaware of Her being Ukrainian, which seriously lowers the risk of Her being a rabid feminist) from taking action. Mostly correct. I had a moment of reaffirmation recently involving my mother and younger sister. While helping my sister with a vehicle problem (running it out of oil), and dealing with the repair shop (asked to help as I'm good with mechanical issues). They both expressed that the mechanic they deal with is really good and they feel that he's trustworthy and capable. After talking with him, I got the same impression.

Fast forward... the mechanic reached out and asked how things were going following the repairs and if there was anything else she needed help with. I suggested to my sister that she should ask him out.

The response from both my mother and sister floored me! "Eeew... no way!" The lesson which was reaffirmed... helping these women... will get you zero appreciation.

Women truly deserve less.

It's not retreating. Its taking an alternate route. When you know that a certain a stretch of road is going to be lined with improvised. explosive devices, You take a different road. Western women are improvised explosive devices. Because of the feminist and woke mentality, women have become predators. They will destroy your career, reputation and children.
