The main story in the UK at the minute is a sheep that's been stuck in the bottom of some cliffs in Scotland for two years. Nobody knows how it got there or who owns it but a petition to rescue it has exceeded 50,000 signatures.

Apart from badly needing shearing it looks in good health and has plenty of forage to munch on. It's near impossible to land a boat and there's no way down the cliffs.

Sheep are notorious for trying to kill themselves, they love to fall down holes, tumble off cliffs, get stuck in fences, etc.

So leave it or save it? I say shear it and leave it, perhaps bring it a friend.

The person who made the petition and their FEMA buddies could have utilized that time and effort to just save it themselves, instead of expecting someone else to do it for them. If they care so much about that sheep, they should use their own money and resources and put their own lives at risk to save it.

I just did a quick search (in no particular order) Siberian tigers, lions, crocodiles, polar bears, orcas, hippos.

The UK has no major land predators. Foxes and badgers are as big as they get. There have been calls to reintroduce wolves but people are worried kids will be eaten. There are claims pumas stalk the land but there's zero evidence bar blurry photos. Sea wise we've got orcas, whales dolphins and various sharks and airborne it's the golden eagle

I think we have a few wildcats they're a tad bigger than foxes but still smaller than a Labrador, though they're endangered nowadays too.
