Neither. My main concerns with the issue are about equal application of the laws. Here’s something democrats who say “It’s not alive! It’s not a baby!” don’t want you to remember. Federal law includes the “Violence Against Unborn Children Act”.
    https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1841

This law was created because every US state at one time or another has prosecuted an offender for killing unborn babies intentionally or unintentionally. If a drunk hits a pregnant woman and she dies, the drunk driver is charged with double murder. If two women get into a fistfight and one of them is pregnant and the baby dies as a result, the other woman is charged with murder. These are facts that no feminist and no democrat has ever protested. So what they have done is create yet another special class of citizens with rights and privileges that the rest of us can’t have. It’s not just unconstitutional, it’s wrong. Either it’s a baby, and killing it is murder, or it’s not a baby and its destruction isn’t a crime. It can’t only be a crime when the mother wants the baby, but not a crime when the mother doesn’t.
Then there’s the parental rights and responsibilities argument. Men cannot unilaterally terminate their responsibilities for their children. It’s a crime in every state to fail to provide and protect. Many states even continue to hold men responsible for children that aren’t even theirs. Yet women can unilaterally terminate a pregnancy. Again, not just unconstitutional, but wrong. We are meant to be treated equally under the law, and we most certainly are not. Particularly where men’s rights and responsibilities overlap with women’s rights and responsibilities.
Personally, i don’t f*ck women casually and i haven’t since my one pregnancy scare. If we haven’t talked about parenting, then we haven’t finished talking about sex. That means we’re not having sex. So i’m not directly affected by the law either way. If it weren’t for idiots and *ssholes, this wouldn’t be an issue at all.
The ridiculousness of separating the issue by “pro life” and “pro choice” is that the vast majority of people are NOT radical in their views on conception and abortion. But their views are radicalized for political leverage and weaponized against them by the same people they voted for.

Ultimately this is a question of mandate.

I don't think that this is something the government should decide so pro-choice.

However I think that a doctor should also have the right to refuse such a procedure if they think the pregnancy has gone too far already.

Neither, I think banning abortion legally is the stupidest thing you can do and pressuring or guilting women into having kids is just going to lead to kids being abused or neglected.

That being said to say "It's not murder because It's not a baby yet" Is ridiculous. I'm pregnant, I'm in the second trimester. and you know what I'm calling the clump of cells growing in my whom? A baby. You know what the doctor called it when she showed me the first ultra sound? a baby. It's a baby guys. I think getting an abortion for contraception is wrong. That being said, I have a friend who got an abortion for contraceptive reasons. She doesn't regret it and I don't judge her for it. She's convinced it was the best decision for her, I'm not sure if it was, but it's not my life so I don't know.

All I can say is personally I've never had an abortion and unless something crazy happened I never would, but it's a complicated nuanced issue and I don't think simple labels like "pro life" and "pro choice" are helpful.

Even using the word “contraception” in that context is disingenuous. Contraception means to prevent conception. Once the child is conceived, preventing childbirth ceases to be “contraception”.

Pro choice though I was pro life for a long time until I realized how f-ed up our government is in how they are handling women's rights in many states including mine. Women should have the right to birth control and abortion especially in cases of rape or medical issues where having a child would be life-threatening to the woman.

My opinion is that every woman over 18 and not mentally handicapped is in charge of her body, regardless of my religious beliefs or anyone's beliefs, and is free to do within reason what she or he wants to do with their body, including abortion; it is between that person and their maker, god or a supreme being what whatever beliefs they have

It's pro life for me. Though I did take note of @emeraldsaphire's points and I do agree that banning abortion legally is not going to help the issue. Whenever applicable, simply prosecute it as murder, which it is.

I don't have enough of my own knowledge of the scientific technicalities but I'd vouch for pro life in most situations depending on he consciousness and humanness of the fetus/cell.

    Pro choice.
I would get an abortion if I found out my child would have a disability that would make life very difficult.

There are people out there who get abortions just because they found out the baby is the opposite sex they preferred.
I would never do this. To me health matters a lot more than whether the baby is a girl or a boy.
