Question

A lot it's happening around the world, expecially when we talk about delicate topic like abortion.
Are you pro abortion or against it?

Personally I am pro choice, because it's my body and I should have the right to decide for myself and further more an abortion it's not a crime because we aren't killing babies but fetus.

So what do you thing about this? Why are you pro choice or pro life?
I hope you will answer this question and explain your point of you without insult or menace other people just because of the opinion they have.

I am pro-choice… let women decide if they wanna kill their babies… it’s a baby to me an nothing will convince me otherwise. It’s a disgusting thing to wanna kill a baby but if that’s what they want for whatever reason then it’s their choice…

That being said. Women get the choice of abortion but men don’t. Not only can the woman abort without the fathers permission but against the fathers wishes she can keep it and then demand money literally at gunpoint using the courts. This imbalance disrupts society and I don’t support it.

Also I think abortions a lot like welfare. It’s good to have systems to help people but if your not careful people become reliant and it also effects society. Proof on this is the first thing women threatened when abortion was taken was being selective about partners. I feel this isn’t a bad thing as promiscuity and a reluctance to embrace a family environment from both men and women is degrading society.

Last and biggest point. I supported safe, legal, and rare… It should be an option but not an option anyone willingly takes. When it’s necessary in the most extreme cases it’s a horrible blessing… or a wonderful curse. But that’s not it’s use today. It’s become common place to brag about the abortion their on and it’s used as contraception. We’re losing the morality of it and with that also the accountability. I believe as much as we hate consequences their necessary to force us down a better path. If stealing or rape wasn’t illegal do you think it would happen more or less?

I’m pro-choice in a perfect world… but the worlds no perfect and so I support the pro-life movement. There’s too many benefits not to be.

Although I am pro life I do have some differing opinions vs. many conservatives on this.

1. I make exceptions for rape, incest and (physical) risk to a mother’s health. I say “physical” risk because some pro choice activists try twisting mental health as “a threat to the mothers health” which is complete bullshit.

However I have read that some states don’t make exceptions to rape and incest which is wrong. Very wrong.

2. I am very pro contraceptive. I am willing to have state sponsored contraceptives across the board. Yes it will cost tax payer money but it prevents bigger (and expensive) problems from happening. Also the science is advancing on this. Let’s do all we can to prevent white from unnecessarily meeting red. However abortion is NOT a form of contraceptive.

3. This is controversial. However in a scenario where prenatal testing is allowed determines a baby has major deformity (downs syndrome, etc.) then a conditional abortion should be allowed. I just imagine scenarios were the mother already doesn’t want the baby and now she has to deal with that?

4. We need to make adoption a much bigger part of culture. Sure most people want to have their own kids. But some people are infertile, too old to safely conceive, etc. Adoption should be more common place and accepted in society.

5. For you people out there who never want to have kids in the first place, why stay fertile? Get your tubes tied or have a vesicostomy. What’s the point of risky it? Besides STD risks you can now bareback if all you want with no worries after getting this done.

Abortion was originally meant to be safe, legal and rare. But now it’s literally trendy and vogue to get one. That attitude is sick and twisted. There are effective alternatives to prevent unwanted pregnancies. It’s time for people to take responsibility for their f*cking actions (pun intended)

I'm strongly pro-life.

The object of abortion is not the woman, but the unborn child, or the fetus. And for the record, with respect, to call it a "fetus" undermines the argument you're making. The reason for this that the very definition of a "fetus" is "the young of an animal in the womb or egg, especially in the later stages of development when the body structures are in the recognizable form of its kind, in humans after the end of the second month of gestation."

Another definition is "a mammal before it's born". It comes from a Latin word meaning "the bearing, bringing forth, or hatching of young."

Abortion is defined as the termination of a pregnancy, so in light of what I've said above, it is a grave evil.

I am actually pro-life. But I would never support taking away a woman's right to privacy or to life over my religious views.

And I don't think people have thought about this in terms of the Constitution and individual rights.

This nation has a document that details the rights that every individual has access to, above and beyond any state or local jurisdiction. That is what makes us a Constitutional Republic.

I’m pro US Constitution. Whatever laws are applied, they should be applied equally to every citizen as required by the 14th amendment. If that can’t be achieved, then there should be no laws applied. There should be unconstitutional laws and regulations. I hope laws that are in accordance with the Constitution can be written and enforced. Because the only other way to address the issue is for people to move to states in which the laws are in line with their own values. That’s actually a really good solution, but not everyone can afford to just pack up and go. That said, not getting pregnant is usually pretty easy. So this issue isn’t the crisis many think it is.

i'm not a tribalist, so i am not on one extreme end. i think abortion should be possible in like the first months after psychological caunseling determines this is the best course of action. but i am against just using abortions like some sort of birth control for irresponsible idiots. and i have studied the statistics. only 0.5% of pregnancy come from rape. 70-80% of abortions are done for irresponsible reasons like "i can't afford a baby". wtf? you know that you can't afford a baby when you have sex and decide not to use birth control...

If you don't care what happens after the baby is born and making sure society is setup to raise young a financially support it, then you are pro-birth, not pro-life. For example there are shortages on baby formula, diapers, and many other baby supplies. Now there are the old messy ways and having a wednurse is fine... if you are rich. Now if the body is malnutritioned then a body will not produce breastmilk or at least very little, a baby can't survive on that and will end up hospitalized putting the mother in higher financial strain she can't afford. That's one of the many side effects of forcing a woman to give birth when she doesn't want a kid. Now the other reasons are medical complications in either the baby or mother, rape, life or death situations, accidental abortions (aka a miscarriage), and many other needed reasons for abortion clinics. One should not be forced to give birth. Life isn't pretty, deal with it.

I am pro-life with exceptions to rape, incest, and health risks to the mother. Plus, 15 weeks is more than enough time to get an abortion if necessary. I am still disappointed with the supreme court's decision. Instead of having one federal law that covers every state we are now having a war between the states. I think it's bad for the country as a whole.

The Constitution- obviously- has nothing whatsoever that "guarantees the right" to an abortion. The tenth amendment explains clearly the basis by which the Feds overstepped logic- and their authority- re RvW. The decision remains with the states- it was never given to the feds to deal with in the first place.

Im neither.. I strongly dislike abortion, but i would rather have it safe and available than see a woman go to a back street to someone with a coat hanger.. My biggest issue is that i dislike the ones that use it as birth control. Its something that should be rare. But between the early 70's to now, the number of abortions have increased 1000%.. and only 0.02% of them were for reasons of incest, rape, or medical. The VAST majority are done because "oops i made a mistake"
