What are your thoughts about the United States seizing a Venezuelan oil tanker and keeping the oil? Will this start a war for the United States?

I just heard about this a few minutes ago and I am trying to understand if the United States is trying to stop Venezuelan drug trafficking by blowing up 2 of their boats that had drugs like Fentanyl on them. I get that!
But now the United States is seizing their oil and oil tankers.
So is it that the United States is really after their oil, but not especially stopping drugs from coming into America?
I heard that their oil can't even be used in the U. S. because it's different from America's oil? 🤷🏼‍♀️

The United States developed all of Venezuela's oil production infrastructure and was it's largest customer before the Socialist took power in a military coup during the Bolivarian Revolution lead by Hugo Chávez. I know people that had to live in the jungle for years who nearly starved to death because the Socialist were conducting a genocide on everyone associated with the old government including all of their family members even when they had nothing to do with government. So yes, America can use Venezuelan oil, it's our industry... We developed it. We were responsible for maintaining all of the equipment before the Socialist took power. Now it is all in disrepair because the Socialist don't know how to maintain it and it is a major environmental problem. That aside, the a Socialist government that is working with China to undermine American influence in the Western hemisphere is a bigger problem than just their opium war against the USA. That is only one component of their broad attack on America.

I don't believe any of those small boats were carrying drugs. The U. S. just says that in order to justify regime change in Venezuela by making Venezuela look like a direct threat. "We are murdering people in self defense." (Same as Israel)

It is all about opening up Venezuela's vast oil fields and other resources to exploitation by U. S. corporations and preventing other countries, especially Russia, China and Iran, from gaining access to those resources.

The U. S. has done the same thing to many other countries. It's an old playbook.

Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the West has put sanctions on Russia, and one of those sanctions is on oil. There are similar sanctions on Iran, for it's violation of nuclear production.

The tanker that was seized was reportedly transporting oil in violation of these sanctions. This is similar to what other countries have done to seize Russian ghost oil ships trying to export Russian oil in violation of sanctions.
