The leftist politicians, if any declared this, lied (among other breaking news - water is wet). Anyone else who declared this didn't lie, they simply had no clue what's happening. The leftist politicians sent them into mass hysteria with their apocalyptic stories about what will happen under Trump and that's when they "declared" it. I don't think we should treat any declaration delivered under this much emotional turmoil seriously.

Oh, but the above defense does not cover people like the MATGA freaks. They were not scared at all, they were celebrating their plot to poison all these men. Take them all down, in a hail of bullets if any excuse presents itself - they are dangerous maniacs.
