Since he has stacked the Supreme Court with MAGA cronies, they have given him permission to do as he pleases. As soon as there is a Democrat President in 3 years, they'll suddenly believe in laws and checks and balances on power again.

I think they need to stop these boats first, show the evidence of that and board like the coast guard. we are not at war. If they fail to, they are screwing themselves and all of us as the left will take power using these issues and were back to the old direction and policies.

I agree with you to some extent. That would be a rational thing to do if your ability to eat and house yourself, your job, and your family didn't depend on your ability to catch fish. That changes the calculus quite a bit, and I imagine you would do something different. Perhaps just fish and hope you didn't get caught by the people that were killing everyone.
