Yes. There’s good everything - doctors, lawyers, judges, firefighters, etc. Just because there are 1 or 2 of anything that made the news for being corrupt doesn’t mean that applies to everyone. You hear about malpractice cases but how about the rest of the doctors saving lives?

Of course, just like their are some good lawyers, good politicians, good women, good people who end up in prison, good bosses, good soldiers, so on. Buyt they might hide in the back of some of these groups to keep their integrity intact and avoid being sabotaged.

I think there are some "good cops" who are easily intimidated by bad cops to look the other way or keep their mouth shut. That makes them bad cops in my opinion, even if they would never plant evidence, take a bribe, shake down a small business owner, or steal drugs and money from a crime scene themselves.

The vast majority of cops are people who want to serve their communities. They see people on their worst day and they do this day after day, My uncle was a cop and he used to say that it was the stuff that never made the papers that kept him awake at night.

Im sure there must be a few I've met several. Years ago but that was prior to " cops" airing. I can still remember the adage respect them they'll respect you. Dont think thats so true any longer.

There are some, but law enforcement doesn't attract the most stable individuals, especially for beat cops. I don't think you can arrive at a percentage of how many good vs bad cops there are.
