It is safe if you mind your own business and ghost people with red flags and live in a safe neighbourhood. I met multiple psychopaths through church that turned out to be dangerous. I also met psychopaths at libraries who talked about God. I would learn 20 years later, they were deadly and dangerous. One guy wanted to be a pastor when I first met him. Now he is mentally ill and violent and abusive. He used to harass my family by calling us 8 times a day just because I rejected him in a rude way after he told me he cheated on his girlfriend with 12 women a year.

There's no comparison. Canada's worst city is Toronto. The USA has dozens of unsafe cities. How many mass shootings has Canada had in the last 25 years? 50 years?

We have the highest incarceration rate because we are arguably the angriest country in the world, and also because of capitalism which makes some people so poor that they have to resort to theft.
