But the real goal is to get him out of Venezuela for a year so democratic elections can be held and a new us friendly leader choosen with him not there to interfere. Then the charges in the US will be dropped and he will be deported to face trial in Venezuela for his many crimes.

Let me be clear that i was very against the military action to remove Maduro from power for a couple of reasons. Then i learned an awful lot about how the CITIZENS OF VENEZUELA felt and tbought about that action. I had to change my mind. That’s what reasonable people do when faced with new information that counters their previous perception.
Only complete jack*sses are doubling down on their nonsense. As usual it is due almost entirely to their TDS.

Granted, part of it is about power... V seized control of the oil, so US constricted, which brings in China/Russia. They went into inflationary spiral and misery. It's power and capital, played out over and over.
That process is going in reverse right now.
