Imagine not knowing about hermaphrodites, hormonal imbalances, and other in between gender issues humans have all the way down to the chromosomes like XXY and XYY... He's very uneducated. There's really are a ridiculous amount of in betweens on gender that are able to be studied and documented scientifically, and they have always been around. That being said, reducing the emphasis on gender labels would have been easier than trying to bring in a million times more.

@Snakeyes7 Sometime gender matches sex and some sometimes it does not. There's science backing that as well such as studies showing hormonal imbalances in utero can alter the parts of the brain that recognize gender. We all start out as female in the womb, that's the default for every baby physically even if not at a chromosome level. The process to turn a female into a male can go wrong at any point. A penis may not fully develop, ovaries may not complete their turn into testicles, the part of the brain that controls male vs female recognition of self may not make the change, etc. Or, too much testosterone may be introduced and trick a female embryo into developing some male traits.

Biology isn't normal, there's a million ways for things to go wrong. So, they often do go wrong. That doesn't make these people or their conditions any less real. It doesn't stop them from being born to say they aren't normal. They certainly shouldn't be treated badly for it or ignored.

I see it like having a different eye or hair color. It happens. Blonde hair isn't normal, green eyes aren't normal, heterochromia isn't normal. We all get that, acknowledge it's normal for the people who have them, and we move on with life.

Yes but we don't accept those exceptions as normal because they aren't. Because they aren't normal, they don't redefine the rule because they are just mere exceptions to the rule. XXY and XYY are not normal so we don't consider them as something we commonly expect humans to be which is why we still have the expectation of someone being male or female.

It's the same reason why to don't come up with an entirely different sex when XXY or XYY shows up or when someone is born without reproductive organs. There's no point because those are accidents or mutations and not worth tearing everything down for.

Honestly, I don't care about this internet drama identity politics and am tired of hearing about it. If someone wants to believe in two genders or not, that's none of my business what they do. So, honestly, I don't care what other people believe in. Cause it's none of my business what they do with their life.

Not sure why you had to post anonymously. Are you scared to share an opinion on this? Also, what if you had kids and they went to school and one day they came back saying they wanted to transition and you said no, and now government officials are taking custody of your kids. Would you care then? Because that's happening.
