yes, I agree that the E-files and the law should be applied by someone who will actually apply the law as it was written, in principle I do agree

but no, I do not think that it should be an independent body... simply because, the same millionaire/billionaires/trillionaires who are protecting these 10 to 20 main people and their hundreds or thousands of minions... can also buy out/pressure such "independent body" and it might be easier to do so

also... I think that this could clear the Department of Justice of their responsibility if someone else takes over... they are breaking the law, and blatantly too, so they should be held accountable for it

I understand that sending the files to a "independent body" could potentially be problematic. But the key word here is potentially. Right now, the Justice Department is a terrible problem since they won't turn over the majority of the files and the ones they have turned over are inappropriately redacted. This makes the Justice Department a known problem. An independent body that is selected and supervised by the court is a better choice and at least for now, it is not a known problem. I admit that it could become a known problem, but somebody has to figure out a solution to this, or we should just burn the files.

most of this situation is focused on the disgusting things they've done with trafficking, but so many others were there too for other types of deals which were also shady and illegal, Epstein reach was global and he could connect you with every other person worst than him... and both Democrats and Republicans still benefit from that, today...

a lot has been said about Acosta and how he gave Epstein immunity on MOST of this investigation, but people don't seem to know that in the same deal, it was agreed to that the 10 to 20 co-conspirators were going to be untouchable and immune as well

And yes, they will get a federal judge to order it, and the department will ignore the order, there will be no enforcement of the order, because there will be nobody to enforce it. Subsequently, nothing else will happen.

Republican Voters said there needs to be independent poll watchers, so if they carry that same sentiment towards Epstein Files and accountability against Elite Pedophiles then I’m certain Republican Lawmakers would yield.

The missing 9 billion dollars in Minnesota for one, also the list of SNAP recipients. We all know that Bill Clinton was a frequent visitor to Epstein Island and Trump was never there. There is a manifest that had Donald Trump's name on it. I do not remember where the flight ended up but it was not Epsteins Island. My own theory is that John Roberts in mentioned in the file and Trump is keeping it hush hush because he likes having some dirt on the Chief Justice of the SC.

@goaded of course, this assumes that those flight records have not been tampered with. If they were obtained from the United States Department of Justice or the Federal Aviation Administration, I would assume that they had been tampered with unless it was proven otherwise. Moreover, given the current political climate, if they were tampered with, I would assume that they were tampered with in ways that would diminish Trump's responsibility in any illegal behavior that they might have otherwise revealed.
