What would you do if you came across an abandoned historical landmark?

I was watching some French dude on TikTok, and he is furnishing the ruins of a castle/church that was built in the 12th century with LED lights, a TV, bed, etc. I thought it was a pretty cool idea.

They're not abandoned, they will belong to someone and you can get into serious trouble damaging them. Idiots like this are becoming an increasing problem and will lead to places being closed off to the public.

We have them by the hundreds, if not thousands, here. I just enjoy them for what they are, I certainly have no motivation to turn them into a Las Vegas compatible showpiece. :-/

I've seen many and we take pictures of it, scratch our heads and try to sound intelligent, not knowing anything and asking questions like..."What the hell is that?"

There is not a whole lot that I could do. But if I had my camera with me, I would go in there and take some pictures and walk around the property for a while and try to get the feel of it.
