Do you think people are aging slower than they used to?

Hard work is all but gone for most today. Add to that great medical care and a wide variety of foods available and people look better. Some will live longer, much longer even, but many will also die early. You see that even today with celebrities. Some last until their 90s and some die before they are even 50 or below the average life expectancy such as 78 or so. Lots die early but some are 80s and 90s.

It appears that they are because far fewer people smoke. All those heavilty wrinkled sixty-year-olds from decades past were heavy smokers. People who don't smoke, protect their skin from the sun, and moderate their drinking can look great into their 70's.

I definitely think so and it has a lot to do with better health-care, less smoking, less hard physical labor, and better lifestyle habits like exercise and eating healthier.

I remember the TV show Emergency and they would Call in to Rampart Hospital. It would be Rampart , "we have a male , 35 years of Age , unconscious. The dude had white hair and wrinkles , and he was supposed to be 35 . So, yes , people don;t look as old as they really are.

Yes, the saying that 60 is the new 40 is true in a lot of cases.

At 72, I look 45, but black don't crack unless we use crack, which unfortunately claimed at least one relative.
