It's a bell curve. People reach mental peak at 30-50 then brain starts to decay. 90+ y. olds are like children, however they can be still mentally fit in very specialized subject due training.
Technically your experiences shape you, which is why some young people can be wise and some old people ignorant, but anyone can have MOMENTS of wisdom lol
They think they do. But I don’t think it’s an age thing. Dumb kids turn into dumb adults.
But does the dumb kid get any wiser as he ages, or does he stay equally dumb?
Oh, yeah, he might get a little smarter. Or just better at masking and rationalizing his dumbness.

I'm going to say there is a correlation for sure. Most people get wiser as they get older. It usually comes with experience and introspection. However, some people have a much slower wisdom rate than others. Some people NEVER become wise until the day they die. And some people are wise even when they're kids. It really depends on your brain and how you process things.
