Do you care more for the community, or the collective?

The “collective” in this case being the faceless, anonymous groups that make up what we define as “people” with all of their achievements and ideas mashed together in a way that can be impossible to define and agreement is meaningless if it’s not universal.

Or the “community” is a group of people focused on identity, they focus on the individuals, what each one brings to the talk, and separates into smaller sub-communities based on these identifying labels but can still come together as long as they agree but they don’t always.
