Who thinks we can use some more Global Warming?

Looks like we're going to break some record low temps all across the USA going forward for the next 7 to 10 days. While most of the winter was warmer than average, we could do without pipes freezing and bursting.

Why are you worried about pipes freezing and bursting?

• Home not built to code? Pipes run on outside walls?
• No building codes in your Red State paradise?
• Heating system not well maintained?
• You don't know how to drain your entire house pipe system in an emergency? It takes 5 minutes.
• Dependency on the electric grid for home heating? No backup generator?
• No fireplace?

Personally I'm excited about skiing mid week in a few days.

None of the above. We have farm animals, so we have a lot of outdoors plumbing which needs to be drained or else dripped while it's below 28 degrees, otherwise it will burst and cost us a lot of money.

An unfortunate effect of global warming are more weather extremes in both temperature directions. So, more global warming will result in some even colder winters.

That violates all 3 laws of thermodynamics. That's a standard claim made by alarmists though.

No, Arctic Amplification is not the same thing as global cooling. The laws of thermodynamics forbid cooling by adding heat to a system.

Arctic Amplification is where the Arctic gets warmer, but is still cooler than USA normal temps. The heat pushes the cooler air south, therefore we get SOME record low breaks once every several years.

Independent studies have been done which suggest the Earth will actually be more habitable to terrestrial life if it warms by as much as another 5F or about 3C.

"Alarmists" are people who keep claiming we're going to have another mass extinction because of a few PPM CO2, which is ridiculous.

You're aware Argon makes up about 1% of the Earth's atmosphere, and it's several times more potent as a GHG than is CO2?

We could all be wiped out by the very next Volcano to erupt if it is particularly rich in Sulfur (cooling) or Argon (Warming). It has happened before.

Imagine that, weather is unpredictable. It's always had extremes also, so that argument is dumb. What world are you living in when you call any unpredictability in weather proof of climate change?

yes, I think in 2009 we had a very early spring. It began in March and the good weather continued through October. I though it was global warming but it was only for one year,

Sounds good about now. Then in July we could switch to global cooling.
