People always think it started with concentration camps and mass murdering. Nope. It started with people being dragged of the street, Deported, treated inhumane, and people agreeing with it because these people are "illegals".
In the past I always wondered myself how noone did anything against it?
Those that did got shot and deemed terrorists. They painted them as traitors against germany.
You can see it 1:1 in america right now! Thats why I care. Prevent another of those situations.
I am sikened with people not xeeing the similarities. They argue, yes they committed a crime by going there illegally. Yes no need to treat them inhumane and causing more violence than the worst of the illegals!
People argue that obama did the same. No he didn't. He did deport more in a more humane way. In a not nazi style. Without force against civilians. Without fascist rethoric and neo fascist goals!
I am not saying he was the best president but thats not a real connection between trump and obama. It even shows how that which is called hypocritical by ICE enemies is not actually hipocritical.
Yes I care because I learned how the third reich started and can see the similarities.20 Reply

3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Ignoring the fact that Trump tries to turn US into a dictatorship wouldn't be smart on geopolitical level. Since US has still bases in my country. On the other hand I support deportation of illegals in my country and even using live ammunition on border if illegals coming from Belarus attack our border patrols. Every country has the right to suppress and to prosecute criminals and illegals are per definition all criminals due violating visa laws or illegal border crossing.
However I think Trump want to make something else out of ICE. An instrument of intimidation and oppression not just illegals. Banon is the dark eminence with malicious ideas behind Trump who obviously starts to lose his marbles.30 Reply

Australia pinched the Federalist structure of our constitution from the US and I just don't see how states can act against Federal laws when - if there is any conflict - federal laws are superior.
So I just fail to see why Federal immigration law can be opposed. It is no more complicated than that to me.
Our Left was against enforcing national borders, until they had been beaten up at several elections for that attitude.
Our solution - which I recommend to you - is to intern illegal immigrants on the tiny Pacific Island of Nauru. The internment is for the duration... till they sign the bloody paper work to be deported back to where they came from.
The magic trick here is that the only place an illegal can make an asylum claim is on Nauru. How good is that? Since Nauru is not part of Australia, it doesn't do them any good to talk to lawyers there. Even better.
The US should find a tiny island state in the Pacific to lock'em up on too.01 Reply

5 moIt’s important to enforce immigration laws, forcefully if necessary. It’s unfortunate that the left is so radicalized that they are literally fighting those efforts. It’s pure, violent hypocrisy. They don’t want us to remember that they cheered when Bill Clinton signed the bill into law that Drumpf is using to expedite deportations of criminal immigrants. They want to pretend that they didn’t cheer for Obama using the same law to deport more immigrants than any other president; more than most two combined, in fact. They’re ONLY fighting now because they lost the seat of power. They have made it clear that they will burn this country to the ground to spite anyone and everyone who votes against them. The message is clear: let them rule unopposed or suffer and die.
Everyone should care about this. If we actually fall under fascist rule, it will be the radical left’s fault. Most of us want peace, law and order. The left alone is making that impossible.00 Reply

5 moAmerican here. I do care. I think the tactics and incredible lack of training with massive budget increases for ICE is completely irresponsible, reckless, and dangerous.
The implications and unbelievable "immunity" and lack of accountability is an indication of a slide into a police state.
Some people, many on this site, cheer for this change into a police state. But some day, it will directly affect them and then they will cry instead of cheer... but by then it is too late.

Blah, blah, woof, woof, yadda, yadda, yadda!
We've heard it all a million times before and it's ALL a bunch of lies and bullshit that's been disproven many times over!! There IS NO police state!! If there was, all those protesters would be in jail, by now, there'd be NO homeless living on the streets and all the illegals would've been deported years ago!!! - 5 mo
Did I say it was a police state already? No. I said it is an indication of a slide into a police state.
Part of me thinks how quickly you and strongly you come to the defense of this means that deep down you have the concern yourself. But maybe you aren't ready to admit that yet. - 5 mo
But, IT'S NOT!! When's the last time cops burst into your house and arrested you saying the wrong thing on a comment you posted online? NEVER! THAT IS happening, right now, in England, though!!
Yeah, I have the concern if DEMOCRATS take charge!! THEN you're gonna SEE SOME police state shit going on!!! - 5 mo
I just watched a video of a police officer at a person's front door showing them screenshots of comments that made on Facebook regarding the chief or sheriff. So yeah, it's happening here.
And did you see groups of masked men in camo and bulletproof vests and helmets running around in unmarked vehicles during a democratic administration? Nope lol.
I think you're projecting a bit.

5 moI'm pretty sure most of the rest of the world thinks the USA deserves whatever happens to us at this point. As a nation, we voted for this absolute shit show of Fascism AFTER we saw the 1920's, 30's, and 40's happen in Europe. 5 moI'm happy they're deporting illegals and criminals, but I think going after an Irish grandmother who wrote a bad check for $20, 20 years ago, or deporting a Palestinian lady (AFTER Immigtation told her she can go to the Virgin Islands), because a judge 10 years ago did a half-assed job, is crossing the line.
My dad is scared to go near the border, because he only has a green card and they're deporting people for petty stuff they did 20 years ago.
I support deporting illegals or bandits, but deporting green card holders for a misdeamor they had 20 years ago is absolute lunacy!

5 moAs I see it you can't determine if someone is illegal, legal, or of he was born in America and 6th generation. But when people are under pressure to always have ID incase they're stopped it sends a clear message your kind isn't wanted here. What's stopping an ice agent simply tossing your proof away?
12 Reply- 5 mo
Not a damned thing. People were turning their neighbors in to the SS in the 30's and 40's because of disagreements about their dog, etc. Why wouldn't someone here call ICE on someone they don't like? If ICE shows up and the target is brown skinned what would stop them from killing them and planting a weapon? Or tossing their ID and deporting them?
12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I hope they ramp up. Rounding up illegal aliens and getting them out of here even faster. If Democrats want to stop getting shot, they need to stay out of the line of fire. Law enforcement has a job to do, but when Democrats step in the way of them doing their jobs. Democrats will get killed. If I was an asshole, I would say please keep it up.

5 moICE is doing good work. No one can be allowed in a country illegally. Everyone should want to come to a country legally and integrate. ICE is simply removing illegal migrants and criminals. But the leftist clowns want to protect these kinds of people:
https://www. dhs. gov/wow011 Reply- 5 mo
@goaded Let me correct what I mentioned previously. It's not just illegal migrants that they handle. But in the case of people in the scenario you mentioned, the only times ICE gets involved are in the scenarios where they:
- have criminal convictions
- are violating the terms of their status
- are having issues with their application (fraud or misrepresentation; ex. had an undisclosed communicable disease or prior criminal history that wasn't caught)
- do not have a "credible fear" of persecution
- are deemed a threat to national security or suspected of terrorist ties
In all of these cases, I believe their actions are just. - 5 mo
And what makes you say not at the moment?
- 5 mo
Because people, including green card holders and others in the country legally as well as US citizens, are being stopped in the street for having brown skin or an accent, as if that's an indication of being an illegal alien. People are being detained when they attend their court hearings, and would be hunted down if they didn't. Houses are being searched based on administrative warrants, which aren't issued "upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized"
- 5 mo
Do you have evidence of them profiling? Have you seen the files of people they've stopped?
- 5 mo
How about police chiefs complaining that their off-duty officers are being stopped?
"Good morning, everyone. I'm Mark Rurley, Police Chief of City of Brooklyn Park. Behind me is a bunch of amazing police chiefs that are here in support of a very short but very important message that we want to share with you. What you won't hear from any of us today is rhetoric of abolish ICE or that there shouldn't be immigration enforcement. The truth is, immigration enforcement is necessary for our national security and for local security.
But how it's done is extremely important. In fact, we have a long history of working exceptionally well with our federal partners, including ICE agents, and we have seen the best of them perform their job extremely well in the past. With that said, recently, as the last two weeks, we as law enforcement community have been receiving endless complaints about civil rights violations in our streets from U. S. citizens. What we're hearing is they're being stopped in traffic stops or on the street with no cause and being forced to demand paperwork to determine if they are here legally.
As this continued over the past two weeks, we began hearing from our police officers the same complaints that they had fallen victim to while off duty. Every one of these individuals is a person of color who has had this happen to them. In Brooklyn Park, one particular officer that shared her story with me was stopped as she passed ICE going down the roadway. When they boxed her in, they demanded her paperwork, of which she's a U. S. citizen and clearly would not have any paperwork. When she became concerned about the rhetoric and the way she was being treated, she pulled out her phone. In an attempt to record the incident, the phone was knocked out of her hands, prevented her from recording it.
[cont] - 5 mo
"The officer had their guns drawn during this interaction. And after the officer became so concerned, they were forced to identify themselves as a Brooklyn Park police officer in hopes of slowing the incident and de-escalating the incident down. The agents then immediately left after hearing this, making no other comments, no other apologies, just got in their vehicles and left. I wish I could tell you that this was an isolated incident. In fact, many of the chiefs standing behind me have similar incidents with their off-duty officers.
This isn't just important because it happened to off-duty police officers, but what it did do is we know that our officers know what the Constitution is, they know what right and wrong is, and they know when people are being targeted, and that's what they were. If it is happening to our officers, it pains me to think of how many of our community members are falling victim to this every day. It has to stop."
crooksandliars.com/.../police-chief-calls-out-icetapo-racial - 5 mo
Hmm, that's a valid source and a good point. I'm a mixed race person with Caribbean ancestry, with tan/brown skin, so I might be racially profiled as well. And I don't always carry my ID around either. They should definitely have evidence before stopping someone, so they should definitely change their ways. But I understand that maybe they're trying to be more aggressive with the deportations and arrests for the betterment of society.
The way I see it, as long as you comply, and as long as you're not a criminal or there legally, all it is, is an inconvenience. It may not even be a small inconvenience, but at the end of the day it's better than having criminals and illegal migrants run rampant and feed off of taxpayer money.

You: "Fascism to me and anyone else who feels the same way which there will be a lot, look at how much push back digital ID's got because nobody asked for that. Reality is if the people didn't vote for it and didn't ask for it and they're trying to do it anyway"
I think you meant any government that passes laws that you (or maybe just a majority) don't like is fascist. That's not true.
Never mind the concentration camps with innocent people in, the murders of peaceful protesters, the ripping up of the bill of rights.
They are saying citizens can't protest in the streets (1st amendment).
They are saying citizens can't carry a gun if they do protest (2nd amendment).
They are saying they don't need a judicial warrant to enter citizens' homes (4th amendment)
They are saying they can detain and deport anyone they want without a court hearing (5th amendment)

5 moImmigration and Customs Enforcement ((ICE) is doing the job it is legally responsible for, the same job it did removing illegals during the Obama administration.
However, the Biden Administration allowed millions of illegals to enter the country, which makes ICE's job harder now and more visible.

@goaded it's not about not accepting it, it's the fact that it is fake news it is not what actually happened it just seems that way because they are really good it twisting the stories making it seem like it was a kid who got take by ICE but most people just go by based on what they see and they react without knowing the full details this is why the world is how it is because everyone gets a reactions and the news love this stuff. Some people have finally opened their eyes and some have not but I can't be here and try to convince of something.

Mostly we're going by the statements of the child's school principal and the father's lawyer who showed papers showing the father entered the country legally and was engaged in the process of becoming a citizen. So, not fake news.
