What are your thoughts and opinions about doing this every time the Democrats put their foot down to get their way? They threaten to shut down the government! 😡 Is that what taxpayers are paying their salaries to do?
A lot of these people are getting paid to protest. They probably don't even give a flying flip about this but hey... they need the money - right?

Voters should know that DHS is funded through 2029 through the Big Beautiful Bill. If Democrats shut down the government it will be for nothing.

During the last shutdown, Democratic House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries was asked point-blank by a reporter if he would forgo his government salary in solidarity with all the other government employees not getting paid. Yes, and Democrats should not vote to fund ICE because they are just killing people. They should go all the way to election if they have to. This is an issue they are winning. That is if I were a Democrat. They should also elect new leadership in their party.
