4 moHonestly:
🤷♀️
Its how I feel about most things coming from the US. When I was younger I'd be quite horrified when I heard about murders, school shootings and whatnot but now I just 🤷♀️. It's simply another normal day in the US where they're hating and murdering each other. When so many Americans don't give a flying fuck, I can't see why other countries should blink a eye. Heck Americans don't care what happens to everyone else so I can't really care about what happens to them.
Feel a little bad for those that didn't elect the dude and are doing something about it but those are the minority. We all knew this was coming and we all know this will get worse and all we can do is say "told yah fuckers so".
Must admit I did giggle a little since it's clearly not a right to carry guns any longer unless you be a trump sucker. Now I'll never take a gun loving American seriously again, not that I ever did. Violence from the US doesn't phase me anymore.
25 Reply- 4 mo
There's nothing to giggle at. I'm glad you're not phased by this and am also glad you feel safe where you are.
Americans do care about what's going on here. That's what you're seeing in Minnesota. Over 50% of the votes went to someone other than trump. Thanks to our stupid electoral college Republicans have a chance.
Millions of Americans knew voting him in would be dangerous and we do care. I would like to note that you sound just like everyone in maga with your lack of empathy when you say, "Heck Americans don't care what happens to everyone else so I can't really care about what happens to them."
I'm not arguing with you or trying to be rude because there are indeed enough people that voted for Trump and not all that did are evil. Uninformed, misinformed, misled, gullible... yeah. But when you say well the heck with them and if they don't care about x then I don't care about them. That's what maga does. If you don't believe in what they believe in then you're somehow not human.
When you say things like that, whether intentional or not, it is the beginning of dehumanizing others.
We're not perfect. Never was never will be but there are millions and millions of good people here fighting the good fight. It is incorrect to say we don't care about Americans. The majority due and an many people were stupidly duped into voting for Trump. It's easy to say what you're saying from afar. - 4 mo
Sorry for the typos. Do* not due*
- 4 mo
@Friendlybro79
With how gun obsession many Americans are and how much they cry about their right to bear arms for it just to be a reason to be murdered is something to giggle at. Does that mean I'm laughing at a man getting murder but the context thereof.
Do they tho? Doesn't seem that many compared to how many millions there are, in fact there's a minority that are out there doing anything.
I've a lack of empathy towards the violence and crap happening in the US because it's constant, it's not just something newly happening and not solely to blame on Trump.
"Not to sound rude but I'm going to be rude". You sound so American.
No you're not perfect and you never will and the majority is not on the street trying to fix a wrong. The majority has not been doing shit. And that you people think the falls of your country is placed with one site opposed to BOTH is why you'll never be able to do shit.
"Not to be rude". - 4 mo
You're not being rude you're being a terrible person.
Not sure where you're from but you got hate in your heart just like Maga and you do nothing good for anyone with your outlook despite that you clearly know everything. Well good for you. Hopefully you're attitude about life serves you well.
I guess you can generalize everyone based on your anecdotal experience and draw a factual conclusion about us all. You're giggling out of both sides of your viewpoint. It's funny but not laughing at the dead guy but just laughing because it happened.
People are trying to do something about it. Hence protests and we have to figure out a solution that is can work without Donald Trump blowing up a city because we said a mean thing about him or didn't vote for him. We will figure this out and we will do something about it during the midterms. His polling is going down over his ICE BS. - 4 mo
Also,
Individual Ownership: Roughly 1 in 3 adults (32%) personally own a gun. So more than 2/3rds if adults don't. The minority just has the biggest mouths here. It's still a lot of guns and I don't agree they make us safer. Alex is a good example of that.

4 moIt's terrible. Plain and simple. This ICE agency is under trained and acting doing heinously illegal things claiming everyone's just interfering with their jobs while they murder citizens, tear gas them, and too many Americans are in a daze about it.
All the don't tread on me people that think it's ok because it's a blue city are full of crap and don't consider as human enough to understand how ICE has taken it too far.
People of Minnesota are known for being nice and accepting people and somehow now they're all violent. What changed? ICE.
People need to care about each other more than what side of the political aisle they're on. We're all human and who cares if we disagree politically. We're not the enemy's from within as Trump says we just disagree with your political beliefs. That's not enough to take over a city and terrorize it's citizens.

4 moIts a great example of FAFO. Liberals are really idiots. We are a country of laws, and illegal aliens have broken the laws and are being deported, what ICE is doing is legal. What liberals are doing is Illegal when they try and stop them.
If you think that our immigration laws are too restrictive or to much red tape then you get to vote for someone to change the laws. You can specifically protest but what you can't to is turn into a criminal and break the law and try and stop ICE.
Here is the thing.. Democrats have been in control plenty of times and they did absolutely nothing to change the immigration laws so do a better job voting next time if you want the laws changed..

Anonymous(36-45)4 moi don't like it. sure he was resisting arrest, but so do many others, and it's not a crime punishable by death. he NEVER pulled out his gun. The ICE agent took it. The gun misfired while in the hands of the ICE AGENT and that's what caused them to shoot the rest of their guns. But they failed to identify where that first shot came from before deciding to kill a person. That is not okay. No spin will ever make it okay. ICE fucked up. But they didn't kill Alex for protesting. I'm conservative but I'm not a sheep in either direction. Right and wrong will always be a thing that I don't let my politics determine. I wish others could truthfully say the same.

No man. They blasted him with 6 or more 7 shots after he hit the ground just laying there.
I saw the footage in slow motion and one of the agents pointed downward right towards his head area and shot.
No misfiring happened. It was on purpose.

4 moEverybody messed up on this one.
There are at least three different video angles that were available at first, now I can’t find a single full video that does not blur him out. Obviously someone doesn’t want us to know something 🤷♂️ but I saw the videos before they got taken down/blurred :)
long story short he shouldn’t have tried to pull a gun on federal officers and they shouldn’t have shot him.
135 Reply- 4 mo
He had a phone in one hand and the other hand was empty, seen from multiple videos
- 4 mo
He went for his gun with his right hand shortly after being pepper sprayed while standing in front of a parked vehicle. It’s clearly visible in the unblurred video unless you’re lying to yourself 🤷♂️ immediately after he is brought to the ground and disarmed. You can clearly see he again goes for his holster (which is now empty) and is then shot.
It was a bad and very avoidable shooting, but Pretti is far from innocent.
Let’s also remember he had previously been involved in an altercation with ICE where he got the short end of the stick, and he had been fired from his job as nurse due to being mentally unstable. Pretti was a troubled man who was not in his right mind. - 4 mo
Wrong. Simply false.

Was he? If you can show me any visual evidence actually showing that, than I’ll give it to you.
Pretti still made a plethora of terrible decisions, even if that was the case. - 4 mo

Half of those pictures you can't tell until you go watch the video in.25x speed. The others are pretty damning though. - 3 mo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRl_BNfgIHo here's the link by the way so you don't have to look for it lol
- 3 mo
Thank you for the video.
I've single stepped through that video and every time you can see Pretti's hands, they're on the floor trying to keep his face from being mashed into the pavement. I also see an agent taking a gun from him before the first shot.
And so does the guy narrating your video. He says so, repeatedly. Also: "He hasn't tried to go for it. You can see that his arms are still on the ground, actually..." The agent in grey takes the firearm from Pretti's belt. The only danger to the agents was the nutcase who fired into a mass of people.
I don't know what you think you can see, but it's not what you're claiming. - 3 mo
@goaded Of course.
I would disagree, especially given a few frames where his right hand is clearly on his side over his holster. An agent did take his gun before the first shot, which is one of a reasons I think it is a "bad shoot."
Yes, he does. I would also disagree with the narrator, however, given the aforementioned frames where you can see his hand by his gun/holster. There were many dangers to the agents and bystanders that day. The protestors and agents on that day were the ideal outcome and culmination of divisive worldviews and a divisive media. - 3 mo
I mean we can say that, but we weren't there. The chances that someone there knew/realized he had a gun are not incredibly low. In my opinion, it's a somewhat irrelevant factor. What matters is that he did have a gun, and that ICE shot him after disarming him.
Are you/the narrator talking about the Renea Good shooting? Good context for that, by the way, is the fact that the ICE agent who shot her had been hospitalized a year prior after being run over and dragged by a protester in a vehicle. - 3 mo
@goaded If you watch the complete video, you can see that he is walking around her vehicle and filming it as evidence because she was blocking a federal convoy. He was moving around when she accelerated, but at that point, it became a question of reaction time. Given how close he was (which granted, is on him), he could not have reacted in time to get out of the way. If I remember the video correctly, you can see that he does actually move to the side, but had already been hit by the vehicle.
As for the DHS video, I don't have any concrete evidence as to why. Another good question to ask is why that person did not post the video themselves. If I had to take a guess, I would say that it's because someone out there is pulling strings to make it as controversial as possible. We already know they want us divided. - 3 mo
I watched several videos, most were from bad angles and you couldn't see where he was. The one he posted proved he was in no real danger, because he didn't even drop the phone while pushing himself off the bonnet of the car and shooting her. The final video, like I said, would have shown exactly where he was and how he acted when he shot her to death.
As to "why that person did not post the video themselves", I would guess they were told not to by federal agents, even if they had no right to demand it, or simply didn't have a chance to before having their device taken from them. - 3 mo
Good intentionally hit a person with a vehicle, using it as a weapon. She sought out confrontation and escalated the situation with deadly force. At that point, there was absolutely no reason to believe that she would change her behavior or de-escalate. That being the case, she posed an immediate and articulable threat to the public.
That's possible. Or the video shows a better angle of Pretti going for his gun. Either way, we can agree it's a shame the complete video is not accessible. - 3 mo
- 3 mo
As far as I can tell, he safely pushed himself of the slow moving car's bonnet with his left hand that was holding a phone that he didn't even drop. That was simultaneous with the first shot. Maybe it clipped his leg, but not so much that he couldn't walk it off.
Of course, the rest of the video from the other side of the street upstairs window would show clearly where he was and how he got there, but DHS cut it seconds before the shooting. There's also prior evidence of Border Patrol agents putting themselves just enough in front of a car to "justify" shooting the driver, but not enough to actually get harmed.
Since shooting the driver couldn't and didn't affect the car, except to remove all control from that point on, he wasn't going to be harmed any more if he hadn't shot her. - 3 mo
@goaded @goaded If I get shot and the bullet lodges in my skull, and then a doctor safely removes the bullet, that doesn't negate the fact that I was shot. There is no such thing as being "safely" hit by a car, and any rhetoric used to support such a claim must be flawed to the core.
The video the agent took himself shows "how he got there" quite clearly. It seems you chose to ignore that video when making your statement, perhaps because it is inconvenient and does not support your argument, even though you had previously referenced the video. At least we can agree that all angles of the video should be released.
What evidence?
How can you be sure? What evidence supports the claim that she would not have sought out federal officers and attempted to run them over, as she had just done? She had just demonstrated that she posed an immediate threat to law enforcement and the public as a whole. - 3 mo
I didn't say he was "safely hit by a car", did I? His video does not show the impact of the car on him or him on the car, but he never even dropped the phone. "What evidence supports the claim that she" ran over the killer? He walked away without a scratch. Maybe he got a bruise, she got hit by multiple bullets and was left to suffer with no first aid for eight minutes before the medics got there and she was still hanging on to life.
What is wrong with you? - 3 mo
Congratulations on failing to support any of your claims, again. The amount of cognitive dissonance between you and reality is truly impressive. You do not administer "first aid" to someone who is dead. And no one survives a bullet passing through their brain matter. She did not suffer.
My side of this conversation is over. - 3 mo
You're the one who says the man who's clearly trying to keep his face off the ground with both hands was reaching for a gun that had been taken away from him before he was shot, and that it doesn't matter that the man who shot a woman to death although he was at most bumped by a car in its first couple of yards of movement wasn't ever in any real danger. Shooting her only accelerated the car, it would have caused more damage, not less.

The guy was very weird and confused though. He hated ICE, which meant he was most likely a leftist, but he owned a gun and helped veterans. He was also a nurse but carried a gun. The ICE agitators spurred on by the mayor of Minneapolis, Waltz and other dem politicians have made it their job to harass and assault ICE agents. This creates a hostile, adversarial relationship.
