With everything that we know from watching uncut and non-blurred videos (which I’d highly recommend you watch), here’s how I’d break down what went WRONG:

1. Pretti created a dangerous situation by threatening ICE officers while armed with a deadly weapon.
2. Pretti became physically aggressive with ICE officers, trying to intimidate them with his height.
3. Another protester (3rd party) also began impeding ICE officers, adding another potential threat for ICE officers to manage and respond to.
4. When ICE officers pushed the 3rd party back, Pretti again closed distance, placing himself in a physical altercation with ICE officers.
5. Pretti resisted when ICE officers attempted to detain him, even after being pepper sprayed.
6. Pretti attempted to draw his weapon while upright.
7. The officer who disarmed Pretti after he was brought to the ground did NOT communicate that Pretti had been disarmed.
8. The ICE officer who first shot Pretti made a VERY dicey call and, thinking Pretti was seconds away from shooting him and his partners, shot Pretti.

only briefly viewed. I saw him filming, intefer and touch the officer. I saw the woman likely lobbing insults so bad, it set off the officer whom assaulted the woman. Might have been legal, not sure. Then he got sprayed and went nuts... probably because of the mace. It went downhill fast from there once gun spotted. That, I cannot tell what happened other than he was shot to pieces.

In general, stay far away from police and be very reasonable and don't touch them. or else.

I believe he had a right to have a firearm, but as well if you bring one, it escalates the situation quickly. Reactions ontop of reactions, it went bad fast.

Keep in mind several national guard were shot not long ago, killing one injuring another. These issues are fresh in the minds off police/officers/ice. They train for this, they react.
