Same thing like you. I belive is a jock, because that army was way smaller then the northen one and others european one.
The only think is that they had very capable leaders in their army, including Robert E. Lee. bu the side and their capability can't defend many army in the world now. Maybe some African and Asians one.

With the exception of a few Nations like Hungary Poland and Finland the European Union is fucked especially the Germans. Today's German's are definitely not yesterday's Germans.
