This is the fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats.

Everyone wants to see the wealthiest companies pay their fair share.

There's two ways this can be accomplished.

Democrats: Increase their tax liability. Sure, would definitely increase federal tax revenue. Still wouldn't address the problem of low wages.

Republicans: Remove company's ability to hire low wage workers. In essence, forcing companies to pay living wages. This also reduces the need for government welfare programs which subsidize the 1%. While also increasing federal tax revenue.

The welfare system keeps people slaves to the 1%. It must be broken in order for any meaningful change to take place.

I agree. We need jobs that pay a living wage. Working at WalMart or Starbucks will not cut it. We need jobs in industry and technology and we need the schools to train our kids for them

Mamdani wants to create a $30 an hour minimum wage. Republicans are against that because it will put too many people out of work. But the Democrats don't care because their goal is to replace Americans with illegal workers from around the world. This isn't new, they did it during the slave trading days.
