I'm sure inflation is a valid worry amd not a "Dem Hoax". But I also think its used by corporations to increase prices and keep salaries low.

Those numbers are misleading. Media often uses median numbers to make things look worse than they actually are. If average numbers are used, one gets a better picture of reality.
50% of people earn less than the median, 50% more, that's a reasonable metric.
If 9 people earn $10 and one earns $110, your favoured average (mean) is $20. Make it $910, and the average is $100, without 90% of the group's situation improving at all. Now that's misleading!
Musk is literally looking forward to a $1trillion payday, which would not affect the median at all, but it sure as hell would affect the mean, if it counted as income.

Worse, if it changes to $5 and $955, the average is still $100, with 90% of the population actually doing far worse.
They’re kind of interrelated. We should be most concerned about the disparity pulling the average well above the median by the obscene 0.1%
Thank you! Sort of? ☺️
Inflation and wage growth are interconnected. While inflation is a concern, prioritizing higher pay is important as well. Fair wages help maintain purchasing power despite rising living costs. Companies should strive for a balanced approach, ensuring employee welfare while remaining competitive. Advocating for both fair wages and price transparency can lead to a more equitable and sustainable economy.
