Have you noticed how most Chinese immigrants and Russian/Eastern European immigrants aren't that social?

I don't dislike them or anything. Just talking about Chinese immigrants and Russian/Eastern European immigrants that weren't raised in this country or born here. The ones born/raised here are fine socially but the ones that weren't raised here are socially awkward to an extent with people that aren't their nationalities. And they tend to just strictly socialize in groups with just each other. Is it because in their countries they are used to just being around themselves?

I worked at an apartment place since 2022 around many residents. A lot of immigrants from these locations

They mind their own business. I don't know about chinese but russians are very straight forward and won't take bullsh*t or fakeness from anyone. I work with a few eastern european girls and I notice that they don't gossip or talk around people's backs I actually like to work with them because they are the least drama queens from all the women I've met.

yes and no.
some are very open and social with others … as well… many are only comfortable with their own group.
in university, I was always with the international group… others stick to their own… however, within their own.. they come from different regions. Since they speak the same language, eat similar type of foods… naturally , they stick together. It’s their choice and what they know… pretty normal.

Also homogeneous culture? Their countries have nearly 100 percent just them and not much other nationalities, ethnicities, races. They aren't used to it.

I have not. We have a lot of them at my university. They mix and mingle from what I see.
