Yes I agree, .. regarding student, we’ve got plenty of room, and we used to be the place that high achievers used to want to come study at. Often enough, they’d want to stay here to start a business, or go on to work in their field—which was an all around win win for us. But not so much thinks MAGA.
As far as Mexicans, the more the merrier. They have an incredible work ethic and pay taxes (via sales tax among other ways) and keep their head low, contributing to the local community they’re in. But because Steven Miller is a racist demented sick fuck, we are spinning our wheels rounding them up at Home Depot to send to concentration camps. It’s totally insane.

What I don't understand is why are Mexican immigrants the only ones being talked about? This ain't the 90's or 2000's most of the immigrants nowadays come from Central America and Venezuela. Some are Mexican sure but overall immigration from Mexicans has decreased. And the majority of Mexican immigrants aren't the problem, the ones you mostly hear about raping and killing people and demanding handouts are Venezuelan migrants (not all of them either).

Chinese student have visas and they do not collect welfare benefits. They also pay full tuition.
Mexican migrants are welcome as long as they came to America legally, do not collect welfare benefits and have jobs and pay taxes.

In 2023 the federal government spent (wasted) 430 billion dollars on benefits for illegal aliens. Cities a nd states have spent billions more. It has gone down since Trump was elected but it still is out of control. Eric Adams complained because they were bankrupting New York City
