Who are the "others" that believe every American thinks as he does? In my opinion, they would be the same ignorant people who believe that Trump represents how all Americans think. It's certainly not how Europeans around the games think, and I can that with confidence because I'm currently a few hours away from them, and I go out and about and know what folks are saying.

You're in the states and living in the bubble designed by the media. I don't think you have an idea of what it's like traveling around the world right now and conversing with people of all races, colors and nations. It's a mixture of them being curious, excited, sympathetic and compassionate.

The question I get asked the most is: "Why did Americans elect someone so stupid? Are all Americans that stupid?" It proceeds from there. There's a real need for people who were not that yes, there are a lot of stupid people in the USA. That's what it feels like, and that's why the athletes are speaking up.

Well I can tell you, those that waved the flags in the front of their houses patriotically, and all over the country under Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr, Obama, Trump, Biden, Trump Administrations most certainly didn’t agree with everything going on in their nation however were proud to represent it by flying the beautiful stars and stripes in the wind.

Hunter Hess has the privilege of representing the USA at the Olympics. Since he disparaged the country he should be off the team, withdrawn from competition and turn in his uniforms. This will be a lesson for all future athletes to represent the USA and not their own views while at the Olympics.
