A senator just screamed at me through the phone. Wtf?

I spoke with a senator today and shared my statistics with him. He stopped me right there and screamed at me through the phone. I had to stop him and tell him I SUPPORT his bill and that is why I was calling. He calmed down from there once he knew I was on his side and explained to me there were some corrupt people he was trying to single out (likely thinking I was one of them trying to oppose him and that was not the case).

I am still shaking from that phone call and rather freaked out. Maybe I need to lay low?

It is working great! The bills I am mostly vocal about have been making some good progress. I think there was just misinterpreted intent speaking with that one senator this morning, but once I clarified it with him to show I am supporting him, he calmed down.
