There has been havoc in the Middle East since before Europe and the USA even existed. I am thinking of Sargon, then the Expansion of Egypt, then wars between the Roman and Persian empires. Then you had the spread of Islam which occurred violently around the region. Chaos in the region continued once the Europe emerged, such as the Crusades. And the creation of Israel in 1948 wreaked more havoc.

First, they support extremist Islamist groups in those countries, and once the Islamist groups seize control of the government, they withdraw their support and become enemies of them. The pre-existing religious and ethnic conflicts in that country are reaching their peak. Then the US intervenes militarily under the guise of bringing peace and it takes all the oil from that region. If you research all the dictators in the Middle East from unbiased sources, you'll see that they all had relationships with the US before seizing power.

The Middle East has been a hotbed of wars, killings and power struggles for millennia, with people on all sides attacking and killing each other. It's a sad situation but I'm not sure a long-lasting peace in the Middle East will ever happen, at least not in our lifetimes.

Middle Eastern countries are unlivable. The main reasons for this are:
- Exploitation of their countries by imperialists
- The rise of ultra-religious regimes to power
- democracy is on the verge of disappearing.(We can even say it has disappeared.)
- pressures on those who want to live a secular life
- human rights violations
- dictatorship

And I also don't think Israel is, or can be, a country that serves the world.

Leftists, who are mostly Nazis these days, got angry that Hamas was getting taken out and tried to run interference for them to protect them. After the cease fire, Hamas resumed killing Palestinian civilians, something they do without a single leftist complaining.

For the most part. Hamas needed to be dealt with and Israel has been out ally for decades. Iran needed to be prevented from developing a nuclear weapon as well.

A pretext was needed to attack Palestine. Hamas is an organization that serves this purpose. Hamas carried out an attack in Israel and then disappeared. The Palestinian people and the Israeli army are left to face each other alone. Extremist religious groups in the Middle East are first supported by imperialism, then portrayed as a threat by imperialism. This is a tactic to seize control of resources in the Middle East.

Israel had the legitimate military aim of destroying Hamas in its entirety following the terrorist attack, Given that Hamas was always of the Palestinian people, civilian casualties were always going to be severe. That is true of Iraq and Afghanistan too. You can debate whether too many Palestinian civilians were killed but that's a question of military efficiency not morality.

I think Israel went into a clearly immoral space by withholding humanitarian supplies... but that had zero to do with US policy.
