The United States are just as safe as Iran is, right now. Not because of "illegal aliens", of course, but rather because of the political regime that's currently in place.

Iran is ruled by an "Islamic" autocratic government.

The US are ruled by a fascist "christian" government.

Both hate equality, democracy and the same kind of people. In theory, they should be friends. Unfortunately for them, they don't share the same stupid religion; and their respective faiths commands them to hate one another.

there's long been warnings against travel in place on the UK. gov website in particular the very high risk of terrorism, the chance of being shot, and a mention that tolerance towards lgbt and minorities varies across States.
