I think this is a fabricated propaganda narrative meant to make men appear weak and incompetent, like women. At the same time, there is the other side of the narrative feminism and girl-power propaganda designed to make women appear strong and independent, like men. This so-called “male loneliness epidemic” does not reflect reality. I have never seen men en masse being lonely and unhappy in the streets, and neither has anyone else. The whole point of this narrative is to make men act like women and women act like men. In other words, to turn the world upside down.

Ten months ago, I was a die-hard feminist, filled with envy toward what I saw as men’s natural superiority (power, strength, capability, leadership, etc.). I would have loved reading about the “male loneliness epidemic” because it made me feel good (out of resentment) seeing a narrative that suggested men “depend” on women. It functioned as a coping strategy and compensation, despite history, reality, and biology suggesting that women have depended more on men than the other way around. I knew many feminists like I was back then who loved this narrative because it sounded good to them. It felt satisfying to hear a reverse narrative that goes against what they see as nature and biology—that women have historically depended more on men than the other way around.

Male loneliness is very real, though “epidemic” might be an exaggeration. One fun fact that feminists have long refused to acknowledge is that women have controlled dating and marriage for all of modern history. So when men are single the assumption is that they can’t attract women. There is some of that, but there are also a lot of men who aren’t playing women’s games by choice. They vastly outnumber the “woe is me” basement dwelling “incels”. Good, self respecting men are sick of women’s sh*t.
Women recently jumped on the bandwagon because there’s no men’s issue that they can’t make all about themselves. The truth is: women are crying “where are all the good men?” at the same rates they always have. Meanwhile an alarming number of men admit that they are not even talking to women anymore.
Marriage and childbirth rates are at the lowest in a century and it’s mostly because of men deciding modern women aren’t worth the effort they demand. More women than men admit to being in “poly” relationships. Which aligns perfectly with more women than men indicating that they’re in any kind of relationship. This proves what many of us have long known. The majority of women are sharing a minority of men and then wondering why they can’t lock a good one down. The fact that so many low value women have been used at one time or another by one or more men who are way out of their league, and an overwhelming number of simpering fools throwing them vacant compliments on social media have many women overvaluing themselves.
Above all else, it’s of vital importance that men make concerted efforts to establish more meaningful male friendships. Women will never understand, let alone care, about men’s struggles. If you don’t already have a relative, priest, pastor, teacher, coach, counselor, neighbor or friend, find at least one. Join a men’s group. Sign up for a mentoring program. Maybe most importantly, BE the friend you need so that your friends feel safe coming to you with sensitive matters. Then they can return the favor. Contrary to popular myth, men’s loneliness has very little to do with how much sex they have. We’ve been told to eat our feelings to our own detriment and society’s benefit for too long. That’s absolutely not necessary to being a good man. A good man is not selfish, but he is self respecting.
A final tip to the young’ns. Make lots of friends when you’re young and do your best to retain them. Some will fall away over time and making friends as an adult is much more difficult. Better to make lifelong friends early and often than find yourself an unfortunate statistic at the worst possible time and place.

I think You're being a bit paranoid here. As far as I know, the term "Male Loneliness Epidemic" was coined by Shoe0nHead, and She of all women is incredibly well-meaning towards men. Now... She's also a socialist (if a mighty intellectually capable one), so it's kind of obvious She would be sensitive to men's suffering and paint it in such a way that makes men seem vulnerable. Basically, She's empathetic as hell, therefore She's like: "men are people, so obviously they have feelings and that means they must be suffering from all this loneliness they experience". What She kind of fails to understand is that men are conditioned to not care about their feelings for a reason - otherwise they would be unable of doing their job as the impenetrable shield of our civilization. And since men can very much depend on good women (it's just that there are currently extremely few of them, at least in the Western sphere of cultural influence), it is not entirely false that men depend on women. We can do without them, at least for like one generation, but we do achieve more if they do support us.

So... I get Your point, but I don't think it's as bad as it seems. Sure, the messed up feminists will try to make the Male Loneliness Epidemic into a reason to shame men and make fun of them, but it is not what it's inherently about. Also, as a lonely man (one of most of the men in the West at this point), I can tell You I am pretty miserable. The only thing is I convert this misery into determination to never allow men to be persecuted again, which might just be a mighty bad news for the left wing in my country. Basically, I take the weakness and mold it into a strength, just like men are being conditioned to do. But yes, most men are definitely miserable being lonely, it's just that it drives them to fury instead of despair (except those who commit suicide out of loneliness, I guess).

Yeah, it's propaganda from content creators meant to generate clicks to some extent. But their audience is a generation of butthurt boys who grew up on the internet interacting with the world from behind a keyboard and being taught that instant gratification was something they are entitled to.

These guys are not properly socialized. They don't live in the real world. They have a warped view of women and the world in general. They haven't gotten out there and taken risks and failed and learned and grown as men.

Remember Plato's allegory of the cave from The Republic?

Essentially the internet is the cave these guys have been living in and they have a false understanding of reality.

All guys deserve to score a woman who's a "10"
They should all just curl up on a couch with an XBox controller.

I don't know that there's a fix for this. And the propaganda does not help.

Well let me tell you being lonely sucks man or woman….. and I think it’s normal to have empathy for it. However, I don’t like it when someone feels they are entitled to another human being. It’s also wrong to use someone out of desperation without any real attraction so it’s normal to not want to be with someone who’s simply desperate. But not all lonely people are desperate at the same time.

People see companionship and to bond with a woman and women feel that way for a man. Unless someone’s asexual or homosexual etc or aromantic or homoromantic. I digress. That’s another topic.

But at least you realize it’s wrong to take pleasure in others pain to feel better about your own misery. Many would never admit that.

What the so called "loneliness epidemic" is about is mainly men and women who are so disagreeable as to be shunned by their friends and peers. But looking for people to sacrifice themselves for their comfort.

I'm not one to casually throw euthanasia around, but some of these people need to be treated like criminals.
