It's not automatic. It's already been taxed and you have to get it qualified with keeping records and does it even take effect the default tax exception? The gig market is also keeping the market afloat at this point. You hace a retail job that keep you under the threshold of getting benefits and you drive for Uber or doordash.

The whole pitching and moaning about the first don tax bill back 2016 or 17 was the tax exception was larger but the rich got richer from having less steps from in the progressive tax scale.
