the VAST majority do not support the current actions of the government and i believe on the issue of conflict with Iran the split is somewhere around 60-70% disapprove.

On the day asked this, trump 45% approval. Far more than Biden-d. Since then the DISAPPROVE LESS by 3% and STRONG approve grew from 29% on 5 march to 32% today date 11. as oil prices fell.

Then Trump was elected to bring radical change.

It's not exactly that he's one of us. It's that he's not one of them.

When he got up on that stage and said "if you pay these guys enough they'll bend over backwards for you, believe me, I've been paying them off for years and I think it's wrong"

That connected with a lot of people.

His premise is he's a rich guy who saw the mechanism he had access to, people who are much richer and more nefarious have even more access to. His ego made it hard for him to watch people he saw as less talanted than the people around him make decisions based on being paid off at scales that effect the whole country.

Whether either of us believe that isn't relevant. It's more about the fact he represents a return to a version of democracy that is less centered around whether you have group approval from one party or the other.

He showed that you CAN outmanuver these people and they're not all they're cracked up to be. And that's why he has many supporters who maybe don't like almost a single decision he's made. Because what he represents is larger than anything that has to do with that. He's about democracy not being closed off to ivy league elites who were placed into their positions to basically sell every law and decision to the highest bidder.
