
Has the USA become a country whose government works for the government, by the government, and with the government to further – the government?


At this point its painfully obvious that its been hijacked by an international cabal of banks, large corporations and intelligence agencies that are actively working against the interests of the American people. You'd have to be pretty stupid not to see it. Most of us know it deep down and are just going through the motions until the shooting starts.
The government of the U. S. has become a government that governs for the ultra rich and corporations as they are the ones who fund politicians political careers.

When the District of Colombia was created, it fraudulently turned the United States of America into the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Corporation, states were incorporated, and citizens became corporate entities - property. This was done without citizens' knowledge for the benefit of global bankers.
When your name is spelled in capital letters on a contract or on documents like your birth certificate, driver's license, Social Security card, voter registration, tax documents, it means that you are a corporate entity as opposed to a sovereign living being. You engage in government contract without even knowing it. They own you as collateral.
Corporate means "as a body" [not "a person]. It comes from the Latin corpus, "body," which is the same root as the English words corpse ("a dead body"), corpus ("a body of work or information"), corporeal ("related to the body, as opposed to the mind/soul/whatever"), corps ("a body of workers or soldiers"), etc.
Corporate: "formed into an association and endowed by law with rights and liabilities."
This is opposed to the idea defined in the Declaration of Independence that human beings are born with rights:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, ..."
Those rights are not created, contracted or granted by the government.
We have been deceived.
We should as the people of the people keep our government more busy.
I'm for universal health care equal to the best in the world. That way, government officials have no less time in epstein island "child care" if you know what I mean. The blame is still on us of the people by the people of the United States of America citizens. Yet We vote in Republicans who's whole motto is entire sabotage yet still enough tax for trips epstein island.

The government is as large as it is because of several reasons:
1. The large size of the US.
2. The large size of the US's population.
3. Technological and productivity improvements.
It is inescapable.
I didn't say that, did I? Don't make false implications or assumptions. All I did was state that government is large because it has to be.
Think about it like this...
In animals, the brain is like the government... In fact, it's like a strong central federal government.
Your brain is has a mass of about 1.4 kg.
The brain of an elephant is about 4.7 kg.
The mass of a sperm whale brain is about 7.8 kg
Are those animals smarter than you? Probably not. But those animals are much bigger than you. Their "population" of cells is much higher so their population of neurons needs to be higher too. In short, these animals need larger "governments" (brains) to handle their much larger "populations" (body mass).
Now, if an animal is successful, it grows from being a baby to a functional adult. To do that, it's brain has to work well.
That's what happened in the US. Because of our reasonably well thought out Federal government structure, the states and the nation as a whole have grown from a small weal country into what it is today. It works and has been successful for 235 years making it the world's oldest democracy.
The problem is too many people voting for the lesser of two evils. They vote to keep the other guy/party out of power.
As long as we are the only republic/democracy on the planet with just two parties in our national legislative branch, nothing will change. It'll be party over country, and voting for the lesser of two evils.

No. The United States has become a country whose government works to further corporate interests against the people. It works to make the rich 1% richer and everyone else poorer.
Yes, the states created the federal government just to handle national defense and a few other things. It has become a monster with a ravenous appetite that has taken over and tries to tell the states and people what to do.
To an extent it's ALWAYS been that way. We have always been a REPUBLIC not a democracy because the founding fathers feared the power actually being in the hands of the common man. The illusion of power (to channel Tyler Durden).
I like to think of our gov't as a quote by Winston Churchill, "You can count on the Americans to do the right thing after they've tried everything else".🤣

America seems very "You are your own responsibility" rather than "Take care of eachother"; So it does not surprise me that the government would do the same.
Hardly, but the government is being used to help the rich and powerful become more rich and powerful. Some of those people are in the government. Others are in big corporations.

No, it hasn't. The government is just people trying to do a job.
Yes it is quickly becoming a disadvantage if you do not have a government job. Or are not an elected official.
