When you think it's bad, I assure you it will be every day you're alive a small little bit worse until you die. Is this depressing? Not at all, it's the way it is since 4,1 billion years on this planet. Carbon and water molecules in you body were very likely part of other former animals in the past, when you die and decay you give it free others can use it.
There is even a culture in Asia that gives corpses on their closest one as food for vultures, which just eat them and poop them out. Do you think those people are depressed when they see a vulture flying around?

How weak our morality is to peer pressure and social conformity. It's depressing to know that under the right (or rather, wrong) social circumstances, I might accept or be complicit in really horrible things.

There are many "truths" I can focus on to be sad or depressed , I mean, I can even cry over a dead frog in the road BUT somewhere, somehow, someway, I know with all my heart that there is a much bigger picture and every negative can be used for a positive experience. It's just really hard to see from that perspective sometimes.
