In the Tytler Cycle are we at or past the "Point of no return," and if so, what comes next? Is there anything the people can do, or is it hopeless?

I am inclined to believe, the USA is hopeless and regret not majoring in Chinese Studies. That would make it convenient to move to China or a Chinese speaking country, where there is capitalism in spite of the horrendous controls. That may soon be better then the USA where controls are increasing and capitalism is being replace with socialism.

Corporate mergers are increasing at a rapid rate and small business are failing because it is too expensive for small business to comply with all the needless laws that only benefits large corporations.

In many states, hair braiders are required to complete 1500 hours of cosmology training , none of which include hair braiding. Good service is becoming non-existent due to automation, and the requirement to jump through many hoops, and listen to 5 minutes of garbage before being allowed to speak to a person.
For example, we have two internet providers with nearly identical prices. If either had given good service, they would have all the business, forcing the other to provide good service at a higher cost to both. Instead, they conspire to provide equally poor service. Technically, conspiring to set prices and service is illegal, but we are past the point when such laws are enforced.

The government and our so-called free press are, in effect, one and the same. Combined with the media, the Democrats and Republicans control who can be elected. They talk a different talk on insignificant issues such as flag burning, abortion, Epstein, and the like, none of which have much effect on our economy or matter to the billionaires who control government. On the economy and what is important to corporations and the billionaires, they vote alike.

but we are heading towards dependence with the high inflation rate, in reality over 7%. Only a matter of time til majority are broke. right? Most could not function without the purchasing power of our currency buying food... we cannot survive more than a few weeks on food and water we can find.

Along hair braiding lines, the one I like is that if a mother wants to earn income by minding other mothers children then they have to go through extensive training and certification that amateur moms don't have to do.

And their homes have to be extensively checked and certified as child safe but not amateur mom's homes.
