Don't tell people about your issues, most people don't care and don't want to hear it, even if they say otherwise. They have their own issues to deal with and don't want yours on top of it.
Don't set expectations too high, you'll most likely be disappointed. Aim low, and if you're lucky, you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you're not lucky, we'll at least you'll reach what you're aiming for.
Don't think you're important, you're just one person among billions, and you probably won't have any significant impact on the world. Overestimating your importance leads to disappointment.

I do not know if it is worth buying a house when people like NYC Mayor COMMIE MOMDAMI want no privately owned property, want to build a 160 bed mens shelter in a residential neighborhood with very few stores, little public transportation, not enough police to cover what problems we now have, and canceled the new Police academy class for five thousand new cops. Best not to own anything that they can try to take away from you, like Commy Mondami wants to do, plus he wants to increase property tax 10% for free pre-k schools
