Should expats who cheer a foreign invasion online face punishment back home?

Iranians post on social media that they support the USA bombing. Should people who do this be in trouble back home? I would not be happy if my country was invaded and I saw expats celebrating.

This isn't worth going into, for me, at this point. I can't cite an example of Iranian ex-pats cheering on the bombing of their country. I can understand them wanting a leadership change, and I doubt that they'd return under a new regime if they were subject to arrest by Iranian law. International law doesn't mean crap in most places.
