Most of problems the US is facing today. Trump Derangement Syndrome from a extremely vocal minority on the left helped get Trump elected which resulted in this terrible situation with Iran. Trump Derangement Syndrome was off putting to independents and many center leaning/moderate Democrats. There's a difference between just disliking trump and being obsessed with hating him to the point everything is about hating Trump and everyone who doesn't partake in you're obsession is a evil MAGA person. People can deny Trump Derangement Syndrome all they want, it's very real and exist on both sides, but it's worse on the left who is very vocal and intolerant towards anyone who doesn't have it.
