Put a little money away. 5% into a roth 401k match from a grocery store job is a free 5% raise on face value. From there losing pocket change into the couch intentionally that young will grow into a free million dollars with zero effort when you retire.

I get every dollar is precious at that age but put it away like it never existed it won't haunt you in the same way in your bank savings account. That 5% dosen't existed it never existed don't look at it. Then when you are done working you got a free $1,000,000 doing nothing but losing pocket change to a couch.

People don't care as much as you think they do nor are they going to own up to responsibility even if its their fault.

Once you understand its 100% your responsibility in life and quit with blaming others I can guarantee your life will drastically change.
