2 moThis is the problem I have with these rather weak and rather cowardly accusation by association claims. I talk to a lot of people who have much lower moral standards than myself. I judged them and I deemed them immoral. But I still will associate with them under my approved circumstances. I don't really have much choice as I don't want to see them die, but I don't want to be anywhere near their poor habits/choices either.
I don't know what happened with Trump and Epstein specifically. I do know that money talks and many, MANY people will compromise their morals for many, especially those who don't have much while throwing around accusations of others. It would stand to reason to assume those people throw out those accusations because they themselves have been guilty at one time or another for compromising their morals for financial gain.
Ultimately, you can always continue to do the right thing no matter how many times you screw up historically. Just don't expect people to give you the benefit of the doubt if you decide to turn over a new leaf after years of f***ing up. History is the best predictor of the future. I will support good AND bad people doing the RIGHT thing.

2 moAdmitting that Trump is a rotten POS is admitting they were conned by a con artist. They took the Trump bio, which was created by Mark Burnett for his Reality TV show, and believed every word.
Essentially, they got their reality from a reality TV show. That alone should be cause for embarrassment.
There were many of us who were shocked, shocked I tell you, when someone actually gave that joker a TV show, never mind the presidency.
Man oh man did I underestimate the stupidity of the voting public.10 Reply

u 2 moWhy did people support Trump ten years ago after the Russia files revelation?
00 Reply 824 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Because it’s nothing we didn’t already know
Anyone who’s familiar with Trump even prior to his entry into politics, knows that he’s a frivolous billionaire who’s done all kinds of acts like that and frequented people who’ve done worse
The Epstein files didn’t disclose any hard evidence that he specifically took part in the nasty things Epstein did
Only that he was a friend and was invited to the island itself along with all the other celebrities
The Trump haters obviously want to grasp at every small circumstantial evidence to scream out “look Trump is a monster and shouldn’t be president!”
It’s children and futile.
Because the people who voted for Trump did so knowing full well he wasn’t mother Teresa
And unless a court of law can convict him of actual crimes liked to Epstein, the whole thing is inconsequential35 Reply- 2 mo
Yeah 34 counts of falsifying business records to the first degree.
Which is a fancy way of saying he hooked up with an escort 34 times and paid her while writing it off as lawyer fee
Let’s not pretend this even remotely as heinous as the average white collar crime that robs people of their money and future.
And he was sentenced to an unconditional discharge which means no fine or jail time just a conviction on his record (which is being appealed)
He is in no way a saint and probably did horrible things he wasn’t caught for
But it’s a pathetic finger pointing that many people do when they talk about how he’s such a massive convicted felon over some hooker bill he actually paid
And it goes back to my original point: it’s nothing we didn’t already know about the man.
He’s been a public figure for decades and first took office 10 years ago.
And to this day people will pretend to be outraged about the things he says and does as if it’s this new and shocking thing.
But all he’s doing is following his character’s script - 2 mo
That’s an even smaller crime.
“Paying to stop a story” hardly running a sweat shop with child labor
My whole point is: Trump’s opposition will always overblown every little thing he says and does as though everyone else is on the up and up and he’s the only crook in town
He’s no saint but he’s a devil amongst devils and they’re all pining for power
No one is hollies than thou

2 moI haven't seen anything that proves anything. Like there's some pretty strong evidence about certain people. And nothing I've seen that "incriminates" trump even holds a candle to the rest of the files.
And the fact everyone is trying to focus on only him. It just makes the whole thing uncredible. All the girls who actually come forward have nothing to say about Trump and there was one transcript I read from a girl who was giving some pretty specific testamony about other stuff, she insinuated that Trump spoke to her in off to the side and was kind unlike the other people she mentioned. I got the impression he helped motivate her to escape.
So it's like what evidence is there one way or the other? Maybe we could make some progress if we grilled people who we do have more concrete evidence on. Like Bill gates or some of the people funding the research he was representing.
111 Reply- 2 mo
But he was still involved in some way...
- 2 mo
@Razp_Sorbet so was everyone... I mean define "involved" I'm involved in my towns water treatment because I pay taxes and take showers with tap water.
So this guy who worked with all these financial institutions, giving THEM advice. He was funding all kinds of research, doing business with militaries, connecting all sorts of people. If there's one thing we learned about epstein above anything else it's that he was around almost anybody who had any kind of power.
You could name thousands of different people who are "related" to epstein.
- 2 mo
@goaded well, can you really blame the guy? He had just been attacked essentially by half the government of the United States. By a corrupted FBI mostly. I mean he's suffered all the things that we've been told could never happen in government in terms of corruption.
I think anyone who cares about a truthful report would want all investigations which started before he was elected to be halted.
The leverage these documents give him in negotiations is devistating. He could probably ruin all the most important people in the world right now with almost no proof.
- 2 mo
- 2 mo
No, you just bullshitted and pretended that valid investigations into Trump that turned up massive amounts of evidence of wrongdoing and testimony from Trump supporters that he'd been breaking the law are anything like Trump-caused bogus "investigations" into political opponents that get laughed out of grand juries over and over again.
- 2 mo
@goaded well you just mulled over the problem. You think the investigations are valid. He and half the country were worried it wasn't. So if you can't agree on the baseline reality of the situation. There's really no point in talking about it.
It's kinda that simple. Multiple other investigations were called into question and at least one was literally proven to be Russian propaganda against him. - 2 mo
If you were so sure Trump would have been exonerated, why not have a trial?
Be serious, if he hadn't had support from Cannon and SCOTUS to delay things, he'd have been toast.
"one of the strengths of our case and why we felt we had such strong proof is all witnesses were not going to be political enemies of the President. They were going to be political allies.
We had numerous witnesses who would say, "I voted for President Trump. I campaigned for Trump President Trump. I wanted him to win." The Speaker of the House in Arizona. The Speaker of the House in Michigan.
We had an elector in Pennsylvania who is a former Congressman who was going to be an elector for President Trump who said that what they were trying to do was an attempt to overthrow the government and illegal.
Our case was built on, frankly, Republicans who put their allegiance to the country before the party"
judiciary.house.gov/.../...t_Redacted-w-Errata.pdf - 2 mo
@goaded so you think that the witnesses exonerating a presidential candidate, when his opponents are caught red handed supporting the one who they believe is innocent is suspicious?
And that's not meant to be a gochya, I'm genuinely confused what the problem is. Because it sounds like your brain just latched onto specific key words you're predisposed to disliking.
And by the way, you're damn right he's lucky it was postponed because they needed time to prove how it was all rigged. Which they did. - 2 mo
I think that Trump supporters will say anything. I think that there's a reason the Epstein files are so heavily redacted. I think there's a reason Judge Cannon is hiding the evidence that would have been presented at trial against Trump. I think that reason is that they're corrupt and supporting corruption.
I also note that you just insinuated something, rather than simply explaining what you're talking about. Something that's an intentional waste of my time.

2 moWhy? Because they're in a cult. They will deny any part of any accusation against the cult leader no matter how many come forward. It's part of identity politics. If they believe any part of his guilt for raping little girls 30 years ago, they'd have to accept they've been idolizing a terrible man. If they did that, they're admitting they are fools and wondering "how could we have been so blind"? So the answer is, double down that every accuser is lying and the entire files are all just a Democrat plot.
In other words, it's because they're stupid, horrible people.

2 moBecause, if anything, what has been uncovered *exonerates* Trump. He had the good sense to distance himself once Epstein's nature became apparent. Meanwhile, the Clintons - both of them - are revealed to have been neck deep in Epstein's depravity.

Try and keep your eye on the ball.

46 Reply- 2 mo
If you had evidence to the contrary it would be easy enough to link an official government document. There is a document viewer for the Epstein files online. Instead you guys just make AI garbage and spread rumors that are fake and gay.
- 2 mo
It shows how dumb you guys are, because those documents are public domain now.
- 2 mo
@Pohjolan Again, all you'd have to do is post a link to the document viewer on the online government site where the files where published, but again you haven't. Rather than source you claims it's just "trust me bro" and you're not a trustworthy person so nobody is going to trust you. If you make a claim, back it up with evidence. Stop being a fake and gay retard.

2 moBecause they still see the good things he's doing. Pretty much eveyone has done something bad, but it's surprising, because usually in the U. S. if you do one bad thing, that's all Americans remember you for. Look at Cesar Chavez.
With Trump supporters however, it seems they don't care, or if they do they don't show it. I think they still support him just to drive the Left mad and they're sick of PC and cancel culture, and Democrats getting away with THEIR crimes.00 Reply - 5.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
2 moevery high trier politician has their corpses in their cellars. it is what it is. the quesiton is not "what immoral things did he do in the past". the question is: "is this candidate better for my intrest than the other". and apparently for the majority of people a sex offender who likely did some inappropriate things with minors as well is still better than Kamala Harris.

Anonymous(30-35)2 moSame reason people still supported Biden knowing he creeply showered with his daughter and had sexual assault accusations against him, they don't care, believe it's fake new or think it's OK since the other side it just as guilty. That right, Democrats are just as involved with Epstein as Trump and republicans are, that's why they never used the Epstein files against Trump, it would mean exposing them selves.
00 Reply- 4.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

2 moThere is nothing bad about Trump in the Epstein files, other than his name appears many times. No woman in the files has said Trump did anything wrong, and several have said that he didn't do anything wrong.
01 Reply- 2 mo
You are right. If there was anything, Biden would have released it during his term, or whomever was running the autopen.
I doubled checked with AI. I used Grok. He is the short version:
Crucially, the files do not implicate Trump in Epstein’s sex trafficking or abuse of minors. No primary Epstein victims (including those who testified in the Maxwell case) accused him of sexual misconduct or participation in the crimes. Virginia Giuffre—the most prominent plaintiff and victim—explicitly stated under oath that Trump “didn’t partake in sex with any of us” and that she never saw him engage in illegal activity with underage girls.
