How is AI shaping the world and what do you think about it?

AI seems to be dumbing society, in general, down to its level.

It isn't looking very pretty.

I think that there's some degree of novelty to AI that attracts some people to AI, but not myself.
I think that novelty will wear off in time.
I see cheaper, budget friendly AI stuff popping up everywhere lately, with some shysters hoping to profit from using it.

But there is, potentially, great harm that could come about through the use of AI.

I'm 67.

I'm not too concerned for myself in that regard.

For 'people', though, yes, I am concerned.

Do you think people should learn how to use AI for job?

I think that some AI is useful.

It depends on the type of job that you're thinking of as to whether or not I'm in favor it, or if I'd even be capable of offering an informed opinion about it.

I'm not much in favor of using AI in order to shortcut actual living and communicating between people, but I can see it having its place in some cases.

AI is just an advanced tool. It would behoove lazy people to start learning how to use this tool.
