2 moMy ex-boyfriend said they have the power to cut the Red Sea cables which would be a move that will have a significant impact on internet speed across multiple countries in the world. We are going to be seriously f-ed if this happens.

That's not very likely - Iran is a thousand miles away and has no large ships anymore.

Oh ok. I thought not but I wasn't sure. He seemed sure that this could happen.

In the Persian Gulf/Gulf of Oman that could happen. I have no idea which data cables go there, though.

12.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The golden rule in news media is "he who has the gold, makes the news".
Hence why something like 90% of the media is bought out, and will only report what the gold holders want reported.
There is no such thing as "the free press" - they have bills to pay like everyone else.

2 moImpossible the only point was "iranian are preparing uranium and iran has long range missiles" so "strong or weak" was never the issue.

Apparently they have mobilized a million reservists and are preparing against a ground invasion on the coast and the strategic islands.
26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, the thing I am disanointed in is that why our military leaders did not anticipate that Iran would limit tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

What are you high or something? You really think that wasn't anticipated? Get it together man...

@permanentem i imagine that maybe it was but nobody took any steps t prevent it.

@exitseven 1) America only get 8-9% of our oil from the Middle East and that's not because we need the oil, it's more so to maintain a trade relationship with Saudi Arabia who buys our defense industry and telecom products. If we buy their oil, they will buy our tech. We also buy some oil from Iraq because we are supporting their economy after we invaded and occupied them for a couple decades. That has to do with nation building... So we don't need the oil, but we take it anyway. None the less, we can get that oil by pipe line in Yanbu in the Red Sea, so the Straight of Hormuz is irrelevant for the US supply chain. It's not our problem and that was the point. That is what the world (that includes you) is suppose to learn.

@exitseven 2) The failure of Europe and Asia to defend their own shipping lanes in the Straight of Hormuz highlights their dependence on the USA. It shows that NATO is a paper tiger. That they can't even defend their own supply chain without American. That creates leverage and grants America geopolitical advantage.
- 2 mo
@exitseven 3) The reason oil prices went up and as a result gas and diesel prices, isn't because there was a lack of oil in the USA. There have been no supply chain issues here. Everyone has gas at the pump. What happened is that Lloyd's of London canceled shipping insurance on tankers traveling through the Straight of Hormuz to create an artificial supply shock for European and Asian markets and the City of London Bankers drove up oil futures on the International Petroleum Exchange to profit from a self created problem. This is how central bankers skim money off of the global economy, with forever wars and state sponsored terrorism that create supply shocks. They were just playing the same game they have been playing for over a century. The exception is this time it was out in the open for everyone to see who doesn't have their head buried in the sand. As a result the real players in the world transferred over $4 trillion dollars into the American economy. This promotes lending, GDP growth, and job growth in the USA and the city of London lost that wealth and are now having issues with lending. The cabal was exposed and as a result the USA took a huge economic win, yet you sound like you are tired of wining... smh

@exitseven You don't get it? The UK our oldest "ally" failed to aid us, because they were too busy robbing the world economy via City of London banking. If they showed up to help they couldn't carry out the great train robbery... It was right in your face, and the American military foresaw it and put it on the big screen for you to watch live and you just closed your eyes and cried. You were shown the scam. You were shown who your real friends are, but it all went right over your head.
America can secure the Straight of Hormuz, but the point was not to do so, so that everyone could see how this all works, how you are being played, how the central bankers are robbing you... But do you care? Apparently not. None the less it's not like America was going to sail our carrier groups into the bathtub to be shot at at the start of any war in the Middle East. First you have to take out air defense and acquire air dominance. Then you can send in mine sweepers and the marines with amphibious warships like the USS Tripoli into the bathtub to act as light carriers and to create a kill zone because they are more expendable and that is exactly what was done. So everything was anticipated and done to plan. You just watch too much fake news and have too many sudsy bubbles in your brain. - 2 mo
@exitseven Meanwhile the shadow network of cheap oil for China who is trying to become a rival super power that challenges America hegemony has been cut off. America took back the Panama canal controlling how ships are flagged. America took back Venezuelan oil fields cutting off the flow of cheap oil out of the America to China. America disrupted cheap sanctioned Iranian oil to China which created fuel shortages there and relaxed sanctions on Russia to allow their oil to be traded at market value. This weakened China significantly and there isn’t a thing they can do about it. Before the war even started with Iran this was all planned. Go back several weeks before the start of the war and you will see talks about relaxing sanctions on Russian oil… Wasn’t planned for? Nothing was done? Are you joking me. This is running like clock work and America’s plans are ahead of schedule. We are dominating on multiple fronts.

But anyway look forward to April showers as Q says... Hint: In financial analysis, a rain shower is a market correction generally with a decline in price of 10%-20% from the recent peak. So $70-80 a barrel soon... Iran was always projected to run through April... Even Brent in the UK is projected to by into the $60 per barrel by the end of the year due to projection out pacing demand, but the media will feed you hysteria because they want you too afraid to use your own brain. You were told 8 years ago... Catch up...

Expand your thinking.
The ‘date’ vs ‘actual’.
Iran next.
Trust the plan!
April SHOWERS.
[SHOWERS].
Do you believe in coincidences?

Global oil inventories will increase by an average of 1.9 million barrels per day in 2026 and by 3.0 million in 2027 while demand only increases by about 1 million barrels per day each year. So supply is outpacing demand, thus prices will drop. It's just math.

@Pterodon @exitseven So here we are in the second week of April... Are we having a rain shower or not? Have a good day...
